This is what it’s all about 😍 receiving messages from owners like this …
💬 “ effortlessly gliding into 10km of 17km. Super speedy, super perky, and very very happy with his feet across some very difficult terrain. Loves his ‘red’ boots (definitely not pink!!🤦🏻♀️😂) He says they give him wings....almost threw me 500 yards from home showing off his funky moves! 😬 He says thank you for his new feet, he loves this job sooo much, and last year we thought we’d never go again! The other photo is him surveying the obstacles.....really exciting that bit!! Unfortunate rider navigation error early on and some over excitement from the super fit pony put us in a still very respectable 6th place to finish 😍 Thank you for getting us back here 🏇😘 I’m so happy we made it back! Thank you for making me hang in there! He’s the best he’s ever been.“
… I removed the shoes from this horse back in December 2025 (see photos!!) and rebalanced his hooves. His shod hooves had high contracted heels and his toes had been rasped back to remove ground contact with hoof wall at the toe (check out that roll 😳⛰️). He had rehab hooves growing out his angle change and this made it tricky to fit boots to him and his owner had a moment where she wasn’t sure whether to hang in there or chop the toes off, but she’s thankful she did because he’s now better than ever (her words) and he’s a good way through growing his new balanced hoof capsule through now. He is 20 years old, fighting fit and sounder than ever before 💖
