Pawfect offers breed standard styles and bespoke styles to suit your lifestyles and specific preferences. We strive to create a calm and collective atmosphere inside our salon to ensure your dogs have the most positive experience with us. We use the latest state of the art equipment to reduce stress from noise and sensation from our Bathing station, High Velocity Dryers and our Clippers. Each of t

hese tools have been chosen for their outstanding performance and the minimal stress they put on the dogs themselves (i.e. Each dog is treated like they are our own and receive breaks from the groom at the first sign of stress. We are able to give this level of service as we allow extra time between our grooms so we can ensure each dog receives the highest level of care, love and attention and above all has a safe stay with us. When your dog is with us it is never left alone, put into a cage and is free to roam our salon and garden area before, after and during the groom if required. This method gives the dog time to familiarise their new environment and feel safe and secure with us. (they also get a chance to play with their new groomer friends). Our salon is a calming environment where your dogs will feel relaxed and stress free creating a spa like retreat for them. We will only take a maximum of two dogs at any one time. (Multi dogs households are welcome on same visit). Please advise your groomers if your dog is fearful of other dogs as we can accommodate his/her needs.

🐾🐾 2026 Diary NOW OPEN 🐾🐾

It’s that time of the year again and we have now opened the diary for next year. As per previous years, if you wish to bulk book your appointments for next year, please drop us a message and we will add you to our list to work through.

If there’s any changes to your preferred days or times please let us know on the message.

The diary is open from January to December.

Please bear with us with sending your dates through. As I’m sure you can understand, there’s quiet a dogs to get through and it takes a lot time in the office (with large amounts of coffee) to get through them all.

Let’s talk grooming an OG….

This beautiful little lady Sible has been with us from the very start. She doesn’t have a fancy hair cut or the traditional Cocker spaniel handstripped style but a short “all off” leaving her ears and tail longer and then she’s out the door.

Grooming a dog every 6 weeks for years builds a bond and trust between the groomer and the dog. Whilst grooming Sibs today I smiled to myself as she turned and looked at me so I could work on her ears. She knew what part was coming next. She knows my routine. She knows me and I know her. I know that she needs a second just to adjust her weight now when I need to lift her leg as her bones are not what they used to be. I know that she shivers when the clippers first touch her back as it tickles her and I know that she needs a wee the second she gets off the table after the groom. We’ve learnt from each other over the years.

The bond groomers have with their OG clients is solid. We know when they’re not themselves, we know when they’re tired, we know when they just want that extra stroke. We see it in their eyes.

So when you hear groomers say “we love your dogs like our own”, please believe it, we really do.

We will never take our OGs for granted. We look forward to seeing your names in the diary. We miss you if you skip a groom. We worry about you if you’re sick. We’ll miss you when you go. You’re the heartbeat of our business and we are so grateful to each of you.

🐾🐾 NEW SALON 🐾 NEW LOCATION 🐾🐾

Back in July 2022 we made the decision to put our home on the market and buy somewhere where we can move our business to our own home. After several failed sales and purchases we finally moved in December 2023. After 16 months of architects, planning permission, finding a builder, getting the build done and acoustic tests…… we’re FINALLY ready to move the business over.

🐾 From MONDAY 19th MAY 2025 all appointments will be at the new address:
36 Manners Way, Southend, SS2 6PT 🐾

Please allow enough time to get to our new address for both drop off and pick up. We have strict conditions from the local authorities including opening hours so please be on time. Late arrivals will have to be rescheduled. If you arrive early for your appointment, please remain in your car until your time as we do not have the space to take your dog in early.

If you have a 9:30 appointment and the garage doors are closed. Please do not panic, we will open them ready for your appointment.

Parking is supplied on our large driveway. On street parking is also available if you prefer. Please respect our neighbours and DO NOT park across our neighbours driveways, not even for 2 minutes. Anyone caught doing this will be removed from our client list and not invited back.

Coming from the Cuckoo corner roundabout, heading in the direction towards Southend Airport you will find us on the right hand side of the road. A yellow bungalow with a large tree outside. Please look out for the paw print on the entrance door.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our new salon and hope you and your pups love it as much as we do.
