So yesterday this happened!!!
Being disabled and struggling with my mental health provides me with A LOT of challenges, and some things are simply impossible.
We have also had one problem after another with either the outboard or the car so there was many failed attempts before yesterday's success, so it made it all worth while.
The original plan yesterday was to head to Thorness bay, to explore and do some fishing. Unfortunately the outboard had other ideas and started playing up half way across to the Isle of Wight. After heading back to Lepe and swapping fuel tanks, it seemed to be working perfectly but I wasn't happy heading over incase it happened again. Decided the safe option was to head back nearer home and stopped off at well known hound mark.
It turned out to be the correct decision as after anchoring the same problem happened and I had less than half power to chug her back to the slip. Coming across Southampton water at only 7 knots was sketchy but luckily mostly clear. Fingers crossed we can get to the bottom of this issue and be back on the water soon!!
