Well Bella definitely surprised me today.. after giving her meds and checking how she was doing this morning (she looks much brighter this morning and her and Barnum have clearly been scenting the vet smell away 🙈🙄) so although she looks totally battered and broken, she decided to share this awesome moment with me ❤️❤️ Barnum trying to help also .. such a strong and awesome mumma ❤️

Poor Bella is looking a little worse for wear.. operation went well and she is home and back with Barnum. She took her meds like a good girl and is eating so all good signs. I will put her photo in the comments as some may not want to see.. but providing she leaves her wound alone and stitches in place I'm hopeful she will heal well and be back to her bouncing self before I know it ❤️

Been a while since I posted on here.. life is always so chaotic 2023 has been so incredibly busy! Poor Bella is having another spot of bad luck to go along side her stub tail and half ear Bella will also only have 1 eye after Thursday 😢 what started as a seeming scratch or irritated eye has in the space of 2 days become a ruptured eye and is now past the point of repair and is being removed on Thursday.. she is still the sweetest and liveliest of my brood and has been so patient with me and the vets over the last few days.. I hope she adapts quickly to yet another hurdle and goes on to live a long Happy life ❤️

Apologies for the lack of posts lately, life has been very busy!
I also seem to have had a fairly big issue with my inbox as have in the last 2 days had an influx of messages popping up as unread from up to 15 weeks ago! So big apologies to anyone messaging about gliders or for information and advise! I believe it is all sorted now so if anyone has messaged me recently and had no response please drop me a new message.
I have a few new joeys oop and a trio looking for their forever home after being royally messed about so if anyone wants any information drop me a line ❤️

Well my poor boy went over the rainbow bridge today 😢 after taking a bad turn a losing coordination and balance I took him back to the vets where they gave fluids, glucose and antibiotics as a precaution while they ran his bloods.. he was a very poorly boy but not for the reasons we suspected 😭 he had extremely high liver enzymes resulting in liver failure (the membranes on his eyes had become a bit yellow but liver failure is not common in rabbits so I think we overlooked this 😞) low glucose that they were unable to get up with glucose, severe anaemia and very high white blood count, he was unable to sit without spraying his legs out and just so beaten that I made the decision to put him to sleep.. I am utterly devastated and my son is beyond heartbroken 💔💔 Rest in peace Ace, you definitely were one in a million and will be so very sorely missed ❤️❤️

Sorry to all those awaiting replies.. I have spent the last few days in and out of the emergency vet with my rabbit, he has GI stasis he is a very poorly boy and things are looking a little bleak at the moment, after days of meds, tests and injections he isn't improving like we hoped, I am hourly pushing fluids and medications and am exhausted so apologies but I will catch up with my messages as soon as I can ❤️

So I had a first at the vet yesterday..
Kali and Peanuts Platinum and grey boys went in for neuter.. all went well with the anesthetic but the Platinum boy only had 1 decended testicle.. she removed the one that she could but now we are working out what to do about the undecended one.. I talks with both my vet locally that does my neuters and my other exotic vet I use for anything out of the norm. A nice expensive vet bill I can sense coming 🙈
Not that he is fussed.. he is just living his best life with his brother as usual 🙄❤️🤣

Intros done on the joeys that will be going to their forever home on Sunday.. quickest intros ever I think we were in the tent for about 5 minutes.. 2 of which was me getting setup and comfy prepared for a long stint in the tent 🤣🤣 love it when they make it so easy for me ❤️ 3 happy babies and one very happy me! 😁
