If only all puppies looked as happy and loved as these ones.

As you all know I volunteer for the wonderful Phoenix Rehoming. This week I helped assess 26 labradors that have been removed from a puppy farm. This includes 20 puppies.

This was a hard job for me. All of the dogs were very underweight and riddled with fleas and worms. The adult dogs have urine burns from sitting in their own mess. The puppies were not the happy chubby babies they should be.

There’s nothing worse than seeing a 5 week old puppy that should be causing havoc cowering with its head down in the corner. An empty shell of skin and bones.

The good news is they’ve all been offered foster homes. But it is going to take a lot of money to repair these broken souls.

Do you have any wormer or flea treatments sat in the back of a cupboard? Any toys or treats that perhaps your dog didn’t like?

I’d like to try and raise £260. £10 towards each dog’s care. If you could spare even £1 It would really help.
