Think very carefully before you take your dog on a walk this week. With a rare red heat warning being issued in parts of the UK, hot pavements and high temperatures can quickly put dogs at risk 💔

Hold the back of your hand to the ground for several seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your dog's paws.

Walk dogs during the coolest times of the day, such as early morning or late evening. On exceptionally hot days, it may be best to avoid walks altogether and instead focus on enrichment activities and keeping your dog cool and comfortable at home.

Please make sure you are aware of our new prices before making payment, these were updated on the 1st May and a lot of people haven’t noticed the price list on the gate or on our social media page and have underpaid.
I do forget a lot but this is one reason I put the prices on the gate on show for everyone to see and keep track of.
(If your dog is booked in for a bath every other appointment please come and see me as I have maintenance bath discounts)

Hi everyone, I am still currently on holiday until tomorrow but with the incredibly high temperatures next week I’m having to cancel all my afternoon appointments after 1.30 as it’s just too hot!! 🥵 I know this may sound obvious but you’d be surprised…please do not walk your dog to and from plush puppies, the ground will be scorching hot for them.
If you can carry your dogs to and from the car please do so if not call us when you arrive and we’ll help you. I am moving all afternoon appointments to Thursday and Friday morning up to lunch time . I’m really sorry for the inconvenience but anyone who knows me knows I hate the heat and it’s panics me like crazy to see animals walking in it. I can’t expect the dogs and myself and Elaine to be being groomed and working in this weather. I’ll be in touch soon with some other available appointments. If it’s just too hot and you think your dogs are going to suffer with their groom, please feel free to cancel and I will book you in as soon as possible. 🐾🐾
