I have made the decision to terminate my Bitting Service and retire completely. I have enjoyed the business but now I'm going to enjoy riding my forester and nanny duties with my gorgeous Archie, and Cassidy.
I have excess stock and offer a 20% Discount to my old clients first. Unfortunately I can't do a trial period. If you have any questions please can you contact me on messenger.

I find it very upsetting as my business is based on trust. When I give 14days trial before payment I expect to be paid. When I see on Facebook how great the horse is going after 2 months of no payment or communication I feel it’s a kick in the guts !!

My 3yr old New Forest gelding was losing weight and condition even after worming and hard feeding. Martin Walls Equine Dentist came and treated him and he now stops kicking the bucket and takes less time eating. Happy pony.
Moral to this story the teeth treatment make all the difference!

Choosing the correct bit?
Before changing the bit make sure that your horse has had a dental check up by a qualified horse dentist (highly recommend Martin Walls Equine Dentist) and a saddle check (SMS qualification).
The bit needs to be fitted for your horse to ensure comfort and communication. Every horse has a different shape mouth so if your recommended a bit that a top rider uses it will probably not be as successful for your horse.
I look at the shape of you horses mouth, tongue and fitting of the bridle, before watching you ride in existing bit to evaluate the pressures on the tongue and bars. I try different bits until between the rider and myself agree to the most effective bit for the disciplines. If your wanting to have a different cheekpiece for faster work please check that your bridle will have enough holes to accommodate the longer bit rings.
The bit is left with you for 2 weeks to ensure that you and your horse are happy before you Bacs the payment for the bit.
Cash payment for the call out is payable on the day £40- local charge.

Hunting season and frisky time especially if your a newcomer !
Warning if your horse gets stronger in the contact but is still comfortable in the mouthpiece for flat work you need to change the cheekpiece first
A horse/pony will run away or rebel from pain!!

All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:-
oxidises easily
encourages salavation
helps bit acceptance
is warm and sweet
Please note the blue will fade with use
