🌞Horses Hooves & The Heat🌞

🔥 Tarmac can absorb and radiate signicate heat potentially causing horses hooves to become dry and brittle.

Dry and brittle hooves are less flexible. This causes cracking and splitting resulting in injury. This then can cause fungi or bacteria infections within the hoof or things such as thrush. Lameness and loss of productive movement.

Whenever possible limiting the horse exposer to the hot tarmac is better protection for there hooves. Take soft ground like dirt or grass where you can. If the Tarmac is unavoidable maybe considering hoof boots or pads to provide protection.

Also have some fun give them a hose and yourself. It's a hot one 🥵🏇
