๐ŸงSome words of wisdom coming your way

This is sad but true. You may feel like no one notices how much all your animals mean to you, But that animal know exactly what you feel.

They will help you when your down and that is why you can always tell if you have a bond with your animals or not.

Just remember dogs Love you the way you love them. They will treat you the same way you treat them.

๐Ÿ’ก Top tip Sunday

It's 1 and a half weeks until Bonfire night and so I thought this week's top tip Sunday could focus on ways of getting through what can be a challenging time for some dogs.

Firstly, it's not too late to start counter conditioning. Play firework sounds at a low level, YouTube have some you can try, gradually increasing in volume as your dog becomes more comfortable. Eventually you should be able to play these at the levels you would hear inside the house on bonfire night.

Be prepared. Please be aware that because it is mid-week this year, some people may decide to hold Bonfire parties either the weekend before, or the weekend after. Given the current climate, organised displays are unlikely to be taking place and so ask your neighbours to let you know if they are planning anything.

For more ways to help your pet cope with Bonfire Night and Fireworks, don't hesitate to message for more info

More tips for Bonfire night will follow next Sunday.....

๐ŸWith Autumn being here please keep an eye your for your dogs.

Not many know that Acorns are bad for Dogs (Poisonous in fact). So as a reminder to those that do not know that, please keep in mind your animals safety.

If you fear that you dog may have ingested any Acorns whilst on your walk, please keep an eye out for any of the signs in the image below.

If any of the symptoms do take place, take you dog to your veterinary clinic as soon as possible as it can lead into Major health implications if not treated properly.
