Had laid her second Ootheca yesterday!

And later in the evening.. her first Ooth has started to hatch! Only five weeks after it was laid. 🤯

This means it’s only going to be a short period of time. And I will be super busy feeding a mantis army 🙃

Good afternoon all!

Three years ago today, The phidippus palace name & page was born! 🥳☺️
I can’t believe it has been 3yrs! My journey started with a little female Florida called pumpkin.
Pumpkin was a little i5/i6 sling, which I picked up from spooderNest. At the Brighton invert show.
Which was one of my first invert shows I went to. But I knew I wanted a jumping spider, after seeing them on social media. And finding out about them.
And I fell in love with them ever since.

A little back story before TPP began -

Always found inverts interesting and had kept praying Mantis, hissing cockroaches and leaf insects back in 2015. Bach Ma Breedings - Graeme Vasselin
introduced me to leaf insects and tarantulas (which I was scared of back then 😅 because I knew nothing about them) then he introduced me people who I could a mantis or three from!
Which was Rick's Bug Room
who I got my very first mantis from! I believe my first praying mantis was a ghost mantis and an orchid. 💜
Saw my first praying mantis, leaf insects and cockroach’s at sparsholt college doing animals care.
I found my place! Bugs! And reptiles 😍
Which I could never be without again.

Now I’m here spreading my passion for them with you all. And I wouldn’t still be. Here if it wasn’t for all of my followers and friends.
I’m grateful for you all. And those who were with me from the start. You know who you are! 💜🥰

Our Emerald roaches love some fresh moss and lichen. They are Straight on it once it has been put in their enclosure.

These are the most beautiful cockroach in the hobby. In my opinion. 😍
