💚From the face that started it ALL💚

Our dearest Green Gang, it is with a heavy heart that I announce we will be closing our business at the end of March. The costs of living, teamed with trying to run a small business from our home have forced us to face realisation that Dogs Go Greener is no longer a viable operation for us.

We started this project in 2020 as a couple and their fur baby Misty, wanting to make a difference and following a belief in doing better. We leave as a new family of four and a fur baby 🥰 proud of everything we have achieved and the friends we made along the way.

Our website is open until 31st March 2025 to buy our rope toys which are now discounted to 50% off RRP with the remainder of our p**p bag stock being sold on to Paleo Ridge.

🌍 Earth Day 2024 🌍

In celebration of tomorrow’s Earth Day, we are giving you a whopping 40% off everything sitewide until midnight Monday 22nd April! NO CODE NEEDED! Discount automatically applied at checkout 💚

This year’s theme is “Planet Vs Plastics” ♻️ which we all know is a topic very close to our hearts here at Green HQ. The theme is inspired by the UN treaty on plastic consumption which is thought to be approved by the end of 2024.

The focus is to educate on eliminating plastic usage “for the sake of human and planetary health.” There is a goal to decrease our consumption by 60% by 2040 by way of shopping sustainably and eco-consciously, participating in local environmental clean ups and by educating everyone on climate literacy.

💚We stand with you💚

A very different kind of post today, but a very important one that hits home with us as a family.

After today it will be illegal in the U.K. to breed, sell, gift, receive and abandon an XL “typed” breed of dog.

After today thousands of healthy and happy dogs will be put to sleep by owners who have bred for profit and gain and abandoned them in their hour of need. Owners who didn’t care enough to keep them safe. Owners that couldn’t do what it took to give them their best life.

These dogs did nothing to deserve this brutality. Nothing more than simply fitting a government implemented “type” list. Many of which our own dog Misty fits the criteria for, but being an Old Tyme Bulldog does not make her a target.

Sending love and respect to the many volunteers, rescues and shelters who have worked tirelessly to rehome and rescue the thousands of abandoned and neglected dogs since the enforcement was announced.

We stand with you today. Hardly a day for celebration as nothing ends today. In time to come it’ll only be a waiting game until another breed is ignorantly put in the firing line. Which dog breed will the humans in charge fail next?
