Our Story

Go For Walkies are based in South Shields, Tyne and Wear. We provide pet services such as dog walking, pet sitting and dog training.

Go For Walkies are national finalists for the Dog Friendly Dog Walker of the year 2018 award as well as rated excellent and in the top 3 businesses by Three Best Rated.

We pride ourselves on giving your dogs the most suitable walks for them, whether they are plodders, sniffers, sprinters or ball chasers. We dont just think of the dogs though, we provide a tracked map of each walk as soon as it is finished, along with message from the dog and some pictures of their walk. We do this so the owner always feels involved.

We are fully insured for everything down to losing a key and hold Canine first aid certificates (practical assessment) as well as having a certified Pro Dog Trainer (AbsoluteDOGS training programme) and a certified canine behaviourist by Centre Of Excellence.
