One of the key reasons I started Riaflex was out of sheer frustration—so many products on the market made it incredibly hard to understand what was actually in them.
Some used clever tactics to make things sound better than they were. For example, listing ingredients in mg per kg instead of telling you what’s in a daily dose. Others didn’t disclose ingredients at all. And sadly, these practices are still common.
These days, many companies hide behind the phrase “proprietary blend”—a convenient way to avoid telling you what you're actually giving your dog, horse, or even yourself.
That’s a massive red flag.🚩
In my experience, companies that won’t disclose ingredients—or who use mg per kg to mask low inclusion levels, rarely include enough of any active ingredient to make a real difference.
But the good news? Understanding labels is easier than you think.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Look for a clear list of ingredients
2. Check how much of each ingredient is provided per daily dose

So next time you’re looking at a product, ask yourself:
Are they being transparent?
If not, ask them.
And if they still won’t tell you- walk away!
You deserve to know what you’re investing in—especially when it comes to health.
