My cat Gandalf has been missing from Armstrong Terrace in South Shields since 23.8.19. He has a microchip. If anyone has any information please get in touch.

Gandalf has now been missing for over 2 years from his home in South Shields NE33.
He was last seen on 23.8.19. He's microchipped, but we've heard absolutely nothing. His disappearance was well publicised at the time. He was in the paper multiple times, posters around town, leaflets through letter boxes, shared on paid social media ads, we scouted the streets for months and months at all times of day and night, left things with his scent on outside and all local vets, rescues and the council were aware of the situation. I can only assume someone has kept him in their house or his co**se was dumped somewhere and never found. If anyone has any information about what happened to him, please get in touch. Some closure would be much appreciated. It feels almost pointless reaching out now, but some cats turn up years later and maybe Gandalf will be one of them.

So today is Gandalf and his brother Gizmos birthday. Unfortunately, Gandalf is still missing (for the second year running) so we've had to celebrate without him. If anyone has any information at all about what happened to Gandalf or knows where he is now, it would be amazing to have some peace of mind. Please share. There has been a sighting of a cat who REALLY looks like my Gandalf, close to Aldi/Iceland area in NE33 South Shields, by a very kind and helpful gentleman😊 Gandalf has been missing since 23.8.19. It would be absolutely lovely to bring him home. As we know, cats can be reunited with their families years after being lost, let's hope this will be one of those cases! There was a sighting of a cat like Gandalf in this area a few days after he first went missing, but I didn't see the cat myself at the time. Please keep an eye out and share this post! 🤞🤞🤞

Today is 1 year to the day since my little man Gandalf went missing from his home in NE33 South Shields on 23.8.19 😿😿😿 I can't believe he's been gone this long without any definite sightings or activity on his chip. I do NOT believe he's dead, I think he's ended up in someones house and been kept inside ever since. If anyone thinks they might have any idea where he is, PLEASE get in touch!!! If you find a cat, do the right thing and get it checked for a microchip. Reward offered for Gandalfs safe return 💔💔💔

Gandalf will have been missing from NE33 South Shields for 10 months soon😫 He hasn't been seen since 23 8.19! It's becoming more and more difficult (emotionally) to keep sharing these posts. I'm still hopeful that one day someone will take him to the vets and scan for his microchip though. If you think you have him or might have seen him, please get in touch

Gandalf and his brother Gizmo turned 2 today. Unfortunately Gizmo had to celebrate alone as Gandalf has been missing since 23.8.19 😿 I really thought he would be home by now. Please share and keep an eye out. There's a reward for his safe return.

Over 6 months since my little man Gandalf disappeared from NE33 South Shields. I think about him every day. I'm pretty sure he must be in someone's house as no one has seen him and he's microchipped, so I would know if a vet or the council picked him up. I can't bring myself to entertain dark thoughts about people who torture cats or use them as bait as a possibility for what could have happened to him. I'm sure he is out there somewhere, safe and well. I would like to appeal for anyone who finds a cat and thinks it must be a stray to PLEASE get it checked for a microchip and not just assume it has no owner. You wouldn't keep a child that wasn't yours, so please don't do it with cats.
