We specialise in cat & dog boarding

The kennels are purpose built to the highest standards. We have gas central heating throughout with the extra comfort of a heat lamp for those colder nights or our residents who may require that extra bit of warmth. We have a separate block of kennels for our quieter or more shy canine guests, meaning that they can relax i

n quieter surroundings. Please ask when you make your booking if you think your dog would be suited to our quiet block. We have a variety of kennels sizes to accommodate dogs of all breeds. We also have kennels large enough for families of dogs, so your dogs may never have to be separated. The cattery is situated well away from the kennels, so there is no need to worry about barking dogs. Each pen has a spacious heated indoor area with a cat flap to their individual outside exercise area. The pens are designed to accommodate multiple cats, so if there is more than one cat in your family there is no need to separate them. All our pens overlook open fields or our garden area so there is always plenty of wildlife to watch to keep your cat amused. The indoor areas have shelves provided so your cat can sleep up high and in the colder months can snuggle up under a warm heat lamp. We provide vet bedding, litter trays, food and water bowls for your cat. If your cat has a favourite bed or scratching post, you are more than welcome to bring it along, we just ask that all bedding can be washed and tumble dried. We also board smaller pets eg: rabbits & guinea pigs

🥶 🧊 ❄️ HEAT LAMP PLEA ❄️ 🧊 🥶
Cold nights are coming and last year we had a lot of our heat lamps damaged 😔
We are in desperate need of some new heat lamps 😬
If anyone would like to buy one for the strays we would be so thankful 🙏❤️ we are also short on bulbs so would be extremely thankful if anyone was to donate one ❤️

We are currently looking to recruit one member of staff to join our small team which is based in South Milford (LS25).
We are a boarding kennels and a stray/ rehoming kennels that are located at different points on the property. The applicant will be required to be comfortable working in both areas.
The role advertised is for a minimum of 24 hours with possibility of more.
The role will include
• Cleaning
• Exercising
• Customer Service including phone and in person
• Record keeping
• Handling dogs with limited history
• General maintenance
• Meet and greets with potential adopters
• Day to day care of all dogs.
Applicants require the following qualities
• An animal lover with a genuine love of dogs
• Be competent and confident in dog handling abilities
• Have a positive outlook, be enthusiastic and use own initiative
• Be reliable and have good time keeping skills
• Have the drive to provide animal care that fulfils the dogs needs
• Must work well lone or as part of a small team
• Be comfortable providing customer service
• Have canine related qualifications or previous experience working with dogs.
• Be 18 years or over with own transport
The closing date for applications for this role is the 10th October 2025.
Please note that this role will include year round work both inside and outside. As with most animal care jobs, the role is to include weekends and bank holidays, including Christmas and other holidays, this is set on a rota basis.
Working times are between 7am and 7pm but will generally be 7:45 to 5:30.

It has been nearly six weeks since Bella was stolen from us. 💔
I can not begin to describe how this has affected us all, all the questions running through our heads, the what ifs and whys.😔 The people that stole Bella have broken us, I have spent nearly 6 weeks not being able to sleep through the night, 6 weeks worrying about Bella and praying she is being cared for, and worrying about our other rescues.💔 Any little sound I hear through the night and I am up and checking our dogs are ok and safe. My children that live here as well are struggling, they are scared, they don’t feel safe in their own home we are all exhausted and want Bella home 😭. I know the rest of the staff are feeling the same, but we are keeping a stiff upper lip for the rest of our dogs and keeping going, no matter how hard it is. The people that stole Bella didn’t just steal a dog, they took OUR girl and a chunk of our hearts along with her! Please, if anyone has ANY information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, let us know 🙏 We cannot thank everyone for their support enough, let’s keep fighting and spreading the word until she is found, we need her home 🙏😭

This handsome boy is Rocher, he came in with Ferrero but are not a bonded pair and are happy to be separated. He is the calmer of the two but still enjoys company ❤️ He is very foody and is a very good boy but we think he is still a little shut down at the moment as he has only been with us a few days and is keeping himself to himself 💔

We have received this wonderful update from Millie’s new family, she has been loving life with them for 4 years now!🥰

“I know it’s been a difficult time with Bella so I thought I’d send you some positivity. You’ve helped to match so many pups with their forever humans and it’s so important to recognise all the good you do.

Little Millie has been with us for 4 years today. We’ve had another year of exploring lochs in Scotland, fell walking in England, camping in Wales and running around on any beach we find. She loves coming away with us and we couldn’t imagine life without her”
