Fanta has done amazing and is now back home after her sleepover. We are so proud of her, she has been an angel and taken everything in her stride 💪
We cannot thank you all enough for your donations, we are a small rescue and the help we get from yourselves is a god send to allow us to carry on helping the stray dogs in our area,
You are all truly amazing ⭐

Fanta is home and settled, we cannot thank everyone enough for your donations, the final bill came to LESS than the estimate 🙏🙏 due to this, please send us a private message if you would like your donation send back ☺️, otherwise any left over after settling Fantas emergency treatment will be put towards our current outstanding vets bill 🙏❤️

UPDATE 10:15AM - Fanta did extremely well overnight and the vets have said she can come home 🥹🙏🏻❤️ we would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that has donated towards her care. We will keep you updated on her recovery over the next few days.

EDIT- we completely understand how passionate people feel about helping dogs but it breaks our hearts reading some of the comments about the vets. We absolutely cannot fault our vets and they are brilliant with every single one of our strays

Unfortunately our gorgeous girly Fanta ran into complications after a routine spay, she wouldn’t stop bleeding so is currently at the emergency vets receiving treatment 🙏 as we are sure you know, emergency treatment is not cheap and we are starting off with an estimate of £700 🙈 we really need your help as this may climb if she goes down hill.

Please please, if you can spare ANYTHING, no matter how small, we would be forever grateful 😭💔

Mack (previously Alexander) has we’ll and truly settled in his forever home 💙

Quick update on Mack (was Alexander) . Well settled now. He will destroy any toy with stuffing or a squeak, chew any twig he finds, has a passion for snails (yuk) and will happily walk for a couple of hours twice a day on or off his lead. Has made lots of new friends, both canine and human too. I think its safe to say life is good for us both ###

A lovely update on Cammy (previously Chamomile) 🌸

Just an update on Cammy.
She is continuing to do well and has totally settled in here. She definitely rules the house! She is a bundle of fun and is loving her walks and playing with her toys😀
She has had her first Grooming session today - (photos attached).

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING⚠️
DISTRESSING CONTENT

This evening we had a dog left outside our gate, I found him after returning home from being out with my son.
I thought he was dead, he was laid in a heap…. He wasn’t, he was alive 💔 just! He had dried blood in one ear and dried blood in both his nostrils, NOT a fresh injury🥺. He was a baby, still had puppy teeth and puppy skin on his tummy. I put him straight in the van and took him to swift vets. I’ll be honest, I thought he would pass away on the way there 😔
The vets saw him straight away, he was in a horrendous state, so thin, EXTREMELY dehydrated and in severe pain. The poor boy could barely breathe ☹️ The hardest thing is that he has been left after the injury for around 48 hours, just left to die in agony 😭 How can anyone do that 💔💔💔
He was rushed straight into the back to be given oxygen and fluids, sadly I had a phone call when I got back to the kennels to say he was not doing well. His brain function had massively deteriorated and some of his results from his blood work was off the scale 😔 after a talk with the vets we decided the kindest thing to do was to let him pass away, free from pain 💔 I am absolutely devastated at the events of tonight. We do not know who put him there but I do think they were trying to get him the help he needed. I’m so sorry we couldn’t fix him, we tried 😭 Rest in peace sweet boy, I’m so sorry you were let down and had your life stolen from you💔

He was not microchipped and had no collar
