Colleagues PC Poppy Macky and PC Gareth Nicholls from the Neighbourhood Policing Team supported force Nottinghamshire Police Rural & Wildlife Crime Partnerships Manager Juliet Webber today at the first community meeting held since the reinvigoration of the Horsewatch scheme as part of 's national week of action.
The Team were supported by local Councillor Linda Dales and Jeanette Barlow and Rachel Dixon from Bransby Horses - Rescue and Welfare at the meeting which was held at a local livery yard in
Around 20 guests heard first hand what Juliet and the Team had been doing internally since the scheme was re-invigorated,
Juliet said "it's early days but great to make a start at getting out into the community and introducing some of the officers who add these specialisms to their day to day roles....its great to have our local partners here and shows how when we work together we can make improvements and better signpost people to the best form of support "
