🌟 Important Announcement: Somersham Carnival Dog Show 🌟
Due to rising temperatures creating an unsafe environment for our beloved dogs, we regret to inform you that the dog show scheduled for this Saturday cannot go ahead.
However, we are excited to announce that we plan to postpone the dog show to Sunday, 28th September. We will update you with finer details as the date approaches. The event is already well-organised, with fabulous prizes, rosettes, and a coveted best in show trophy waiting for the new date!
In lieu of the physical event, we will also host a virtual pet show at Carnival this weekend. No entry form required, instead participants can submit a printed photo (non-returnable) or a digital photo from your phone to our stall with cash payment. This virtual event will have revised categories as follows;
🐾 Dog - “Cutest Puppy” (under 12 months)
🐾 Dog - “Most Fabulous Fella” (12 months+)
🐾 Dog - “Loveliest Lady” (12 months+)
🐾 Dog - “Best Dressed” (all ages)
🐾 Cats
🐾 Small Furry & Exotics
Entry into the virtual show shall be £1.50 per category, with entries from 12:00 and judging at 14:00.
Please remember that both events will be cash only, with all proceeds supporting the Somersham Carnival Committee.
