I hope I've managed to speak to most of my lovely customers already ,if not I will in the next few wks .
In the next few wk s I'm handing the reins over to the other groomer in my salon Violet ,she has been working with me for a year now , she has been a dog groomer from leaving school. She previously worked for pets at home grooming , then had a break to have her baby ,then came to help me at mamma wins when i needed another set of hands .She's an excellent groomer ,super at Teddy trims and full of doggy knowledge. We've worked along side each other over the year having mad fridays and days alone ,so she knows most of my dogs that come to visit and also has built up her own clientele too .
Over the years I've had 2 shops, worked in the grooming department of Bishop Burton collage helping students with their journey and a whole load of mobiles ,visiting dogs in their own homes .I've seen so many dogs from puppy's 😍to passing over rainbow Bridge 🌈and I've loved helping all these dogs .My main passion and reason for starting my own career in dog grooming was helping problem ,rescue dogs that weren't welcome in everyday salons , having previously worked with rescue dogs for 15 years .I loved the challenge of training/rehabilitating these dogs to having their hair done to keep them ,happy ,healthy and comfortable in life .
I certainly won't ever hang up my scissors ✂️ , but over the last year or so , I've had a few health problems that's gave me no other option but to make a few big changes in my life .My passion in life will always be looking after animals and so there for my new path is taking me back to my favourite .Dog rescue ! which I'm super excited about .
