Slough CATS&kittens Rescue We are a small cat rescue foster based group based in Slough. We do: trappings, rehab, TNR, emergency response, fostering and rehoming.

All the cats in our care are: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, parasite treated and FIV/Felv tested as a minimum.

Hi Kitty Lovers,

It’s coming to that season again where slough cats and kittens rescue will be holding another teddy tombola stall to raise money for vet bills / food and essentials. This money will do so much for our rescue!

We will be doing a Teddy prize every time for £1 again so you won’t go home empty handed at Christmas. 🎅

What we’re asking for is anyone that’s getting rid of any teddies / or any good condition toys. We have drop off locations ranging from Old Windsor, Beconsfield and Slough.

If you get a cat it's for life!

Another unknown unchipped cat, not older then few years, who had an owner at some point in their life (Tuns Lane roundabout Slough). Only one household tried to help. Only one!

He/she was like that for weeks apparently and only one person called. Vets were convinced it's a carcinoma, this doesn't happen overnight. His nose and half of the mouth was eaten away by a cancer, he couldn't breath, he couldn't eat, blood was dripping down from a hole in his face. He must have been in absolute agony. And he would die very painful death in a few days or weeks. He wasn't feral. He must have been owned at some point. Animal loving country😡

If you get a cat, it's for life, it's not to be discarded like a toy, it's not until you get bored, or cat will grow out of being a kitten, it's 20 years commitment. Always microchip and neuter the cat as soon as you get them. This really saves lives!

6 weeks later Summer is looking for her furever parents😻

Do you remember 6 month old female rescued with 6 kittens, she supposed to be just neutered and returned, but turned out to be friendly. We thought it would be cruel to let her live on the street being a kitten herself, she must have been pregnant at 4 months old, she was very skinny. She took care of 6 kittens including 3 of her half sisters. She fed and nursed them for 3 months! Now, little ones are slowly leaving the nest and she is looking for home where she will have a company of other cats. Being born outside she thrives with feline company, is ok with humans, but she is definitely on a shy side. She would be great with other young cats, but not with children.

She has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and parasite treated. Indoor only. Adoption process apply. Enquiries [email protected]

Dobby introduced earlier will be going for adoption with Peaches who is 3 or so weeks younger, but they grew up together and are bonded. We are slowly looking for home for them once Peaches will reach 1kg to be neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Peter, Naomi and Dobby had an important day yesterday having been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They act like literally nothing happened. One of the biggest advantages of pediatric neutering is a recovery time, it's much shorter than in older cats.

Two black&white ones (Naomi at the back with black nose, Peter with black dots on his nose) will be looking for their furrever home soon. Dobby (mainly white with mark next to her eye) will be going for adoption with one of the other kittens she hangs out with.

As always kittens are neutered, vaccinated with 2 doses, microchipped and parasite treated before adoption. Looking for indoor homes only.

Happy Thursday from the big 6 and mama Summer😻 They are growing so quickly!

Three older kittens finally reached 1kg, and they are booked for neutering, microchipping and vaccinations next week. The other 3 have at least another few weeks wait until they reach the weight threshold, the smallest is 750g.

If you were wondering what is pediatric neutering here is the link to the study published two years ago. We believe that no cat or kitten should be rehomed from rescues before being neutered and that's the main objective of our rescue work. The recovery is easier when kittens are still tiny and there is no risk of any other issues.
