One more gorgeous Siberian at our salon! 👑 Beautiful Cairo came in for a full coat groom with bath and blow dry, to make her coat silky and shiny again! ✨

Did you know that Siberians go through a ‘molting’ process, typically twice a year, where they shed their coat? Most of the shedding occurs in spring, when they lose extra fur that kept them warm during the winter, and autumn, when they start growing new undercoats preparing them for the cold months. So, if you find your Siberian shedding excessively this time of the year, this may be the reason! Regular grooming will ensure the shedding is kept under control! 🐾

Cairo was very sweet and loved her bath time! 🛁

Check-out this beautiful transformation on this handsome Siberian named Wolfie! 🐺 Wolfie came in for a full-coat groom with bath and blow-dry. He also had some mats on his belly which have been removed to make him much more comfortable! 🐾

Did you know that Siberians are considered the best breed for allergy sufferers? Although not many studies have been conducted on this, it is believed that Siberian cats produce less Fel d1 allergenic proteins compared to other breeds, therefore minimising allergies in their owners. This protein is mainly found in saliva - so, if you do not have a Siberian, bathing your kitty regularly can help greatly with allergies! 🐈

Wolfie was a very sweet boy and took his bath time as a champ! His coat is absolutely gorgeous and now looking shinier, softer, and fluffier! ✨

We have a beautiful goddess in the salon! 👑 Aphrodite is a 5-year old Siberian who came to see us for a full coat groom and mat removal on the belly 🐾.

Did you know that Siberian cats have a triple coat? This consists of a shorter, dense undercoat of downy hair, a layer of slightly longer “awn hair” in the middle, and an even longer outer coat layer on top. 🐈 They also molt twice a year - in warm weather, the Siberian cat will shed the heavy coat in favor of a shorter, thinner summer coat. In winter, the coat will be at its thickest and longest. Therefore Siberians coats do require a lot of regular maintenance to prevent matting and keep their skin & fur healthy and shiny! ✨

Aphrodite was a bit shy at the beginning of her appointment, but as the groom progressed she became a lot more confident! She gave us lots of cuddles at the end and enjoyed her well-deserved treats! 😻

Princess Annabelle at the salon! 👑 Meet this adorable 2 year old Siberian who came in for a full coat groom and a belly shave to remove all her mats which were causing her a lot of discomfort!

Annabelle is a ‘Neva Masquerade’ Siberian, which is a colour-pointed variation of the Siberian breed. They are the result of cross breeding between Siamese and Siberians in Russia in the 80s. They were given this name because they were bred along the Neva river near St. Petersburg, which was where a lot of masquerade parties took place! 🥂

Annabelle was so sweet at her appointment and gave us lots of cuddles! 🥰 She is now mat-free and feeling so much better! ✨

Check out this huge transformation on this handsome Maine C**n named Porthos! Porthos is almost 13 years old, making him about 68 years old in cat age! 🐱

Porthos came to our salon for a standard full coat groom. This includes nails trimmed, warm bath, blow dry, ears and eyes cleaned, comb out and cologne. This is the perfect package for a kitty coming for the first time here! 🐈‍⬛

Porthos is now feeling clean and fresh! 🐾 He was such a good boy for every part of the grooming process - well done Porthos! 👏🏻

Look who got all prettied up! 👑 This is Cookie, a gorgeous 9-month old domestic shorthair. Cookie came to our salon for a full coat groom with bath, and an extra de-shedding treatment to make sure she gets the best! ✨

Shedding is one of the most common issues our clients encounter. Not only is inconvenient to have lose hair all over the house and clothing, it is also not good for your cat as they ingest large amounts of hair when licking themselves. This can lead to various health issues, such as hairballs. While regular bathing helps with shedding, some kitties just need more - this is where our extra de-shedding treatment can make a big difference!

It was Cookie's first time at the salon and she enjoyed being pampered! Her coat is now looking and feeling extra soft - she feels as good as she looks! ✨ Look at her cute smile with her little bowtie! Absolutely adorable! 😻

Absolute cuteness overload! ✨ This sweet baby princess is a Persian and only 3 months old! Maze came for her first ever groom and she absolutely loved it! 🐈

It is always recommended to introduce cats to grooming as early as possible. The earlier they are introduced, the easier and less stressful the process will be later in life. Cats like Maze also have a very high maintenance coat which needs regular grooming to keep it in shape and prevent matting.

Maze was the best girl and she took every part of the groom as a true champ! She was giving us lots of cuddles and she was purring very loudly when being combed! 🐱

Well done baby Mazey! 🥰 We can’t wait to watch you grow!

'Love me, feed me, never leave me.' 🐈 Garfield, the one and only, visited our salon for a make-over! This sweet kitty is 8 years old and needed some help in removing thick mats on his belly. We helped our furry friend with a full coat groom and a belly shave, which left him happy and much more comfortable!

Here, we don't just groom cats; we also love educating owners about the importance of cat grooming, how to prevent issues, and recommending the best tools should an owner wish to do any maintenance at home in between grooms. Matting, in particular, is extremely painful for a cat and we will always make the best recommendations for your kitty.

Garfield loves the outdoors and he is now ready to continue exploring the world mat-free! 🐾

Princess Mika's turn to shine! ✨ This gorgeous kitten is only 7 months old but her coat is very high maintenance and already started to mat on the belly and back area. A lion cut was the most humane option to give this princess a fresh start she definitely deserves! ⁠👑

Cats have oils on their skin and coat. During the shedding process, these oils cause some of the hair to stick together rather than fall away. This, in turn, leads to small tangles which, if left alone, will continue to get bigger and bigger, forming into mats and pelts. This causes pain and discomfort to your kitty. Combing alone does not always prevent matting. A regular grooming schedule with bath is the best way to prevent this issue!

Mika was very patient at her appointment - she let us do our work with ease and did not complain at all! She is very loving and really sweet - you can't help but cuddle her! 🤗😻

Well done, Mika! 👏 We can't wait to see you again!

🐾Meet Stormi, a 3 year old kitty who came to our salon in need of help! Stormi had mats on his body which already started turning into small pelts, and were causing him discomfort. A lion cut was the best option to give him a fresh start! ✨

Mats constantly pull on the cat's skin causing them extreme pain. You will not normally notice this as cats are good at hiding pain, hence it is very important to check your cat regularly. If mats are left on the cat's body, they will turn into pelting which can kill the cat.

Luckily, Stormi is very loved and he will now be on a regular grooming schedule to prevent this from happening again. Stormi is now free of mats and feeling much better - he got the fresh start he deserves! 🥰

We are proud of him for being so patient throughout the process and we cannot wait to see him again - well done Stormi! 👏

Meet this gorgeous red tabby domestic shorthair named Itch! Itch is 10 years old and she came in for a full-coat groom with a de-shedding treatment to give her fur back its shine! 🌟

Did you know that, as cats grow older, they tend to slow down, rest more, and have more physical challenges? Some of them will not lick themselves as often, while others will stop licking completely. It is important to keep an eye on your senior kitty and schedule regular grooming appointments to prevent any issues and help them with grooming. Cats love to feel clean! 🐈

As Itch is a senior kitty, we took things very slowly, but this sweet girl loved her grooming appointment and was purring loudly! She was super sweet and gave us lots of headbutts and cuddles! 🧡

It was lovely meeting you, Itch! Can we all give her a clap for being such a good girl on her first appointment? 👏
