While we’re all excited to enjoy the sunshine, the warmer temperatures can be tough on our furry friends. Please remember to help keep your animals safe, cool, and comfortable during the heat. 💙

🐶 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening

💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water

🌳 Make sure pets have access to shade and cool resting areas

🚫 Never leave animals in parked cars

🐾 Check pavements before walks — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

Keep an eye out for signs of overheating such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse.

A lovely first adventure with Alfie today 🐾

Alfie joined me for his first walk as part of his monthly membership, and he absolutely smashed it!

From peaceful riverside paths to shady woodland trails, he took everything in his stride and enjoyed every second of exploring 🌿

He’s such a sweet boy with the gentlest nature, and those little grey whiskers make him even more adorable 🖤

We stopped for plenty of sniff breaks, soaked up the calm surroundings, and had a really relaxed walk together.

I can already tell we’re going to have some brilliant adventures ahead 🐕✨
