💕I LOVE a German Shepherd de-shed!

There's nothing better than seeing all that loose coat come out and revealing a fresh, fluffy, shiny shepherd underneath!

Gorgeous girl Nova enjoyed the full big de-shed treatment today.

🌸Someone’s feeling happy after a de-shed! 🥰

Molly comes every 6 weeks for a groom but this time her coat had “blown” so she was losing large clumps of hair.

🌼 Double coated dogs have a soft, insulating undercoat and a longer, water-resistant outer coat and
need a regular de-shed, especially when their coat is “blown”:

When seasons change - especially spring and autumn their coats do too:
* Spring: they lose their thick winter undercoat to stay cool
* Autumn: they shed the lighter summer coat to make way for a denser winter one
* Indoor living: central heating can make shedding happen more continuously instead of in strict seasons

If all that loose fur stays stuck:
🐾 It can get matted and uncomfortable
🐾 It stops air getting to their skin and they can overheat
🐾 It can trap dirt and cause itchy skin

A good de-shed helps:
⭐️Remove all that dead fluff safely
⭐️Keep their skin healthy and comfy
⭐️Helps them to regulate their temperature better
