I’ve set up a Go Fund Me for Aileen as it’s illegal for her to do so in Dubai. Alieen is incredible and cares for over 150 cats, many are disabled. Some of our cats have been rescued by her. Please consider donating as she is completely self funded and has so much vet debt that needs clearing so she can continue to help. That’s even before the running costs. It’s all a huge undertaking. People often pitty disabled animals and this needs to stop. While they potentially require more care, they are just as valid in their own right and don’t need to be wrapped in cotton wool or felt sorry for. It’s time the narrative surrounding disabled animals changes to a positive one. Let’s show the world what they can do, not dwell on the challenges. 🙌💖
