🚨 Parvovirus Alert 🚨

We’ve had confirmed cases of parvovirus in our practice, and other local clinics are seeing the same. Parvovirus is a highly contagious disease that causes severe vomiting, diarrhoea, dehydration, and can be life-threatening - especially for unvaccinated dogs and puppies.
Signs to Watch For:
💊 Bloody, foul-smelling diarrhoea
💊 Vomiting
💊 Loss of appetite
💊 Low energy
💊 Fever

Dogs can catch parvovirus from infected poo and bodily fluids, so vaccination is the best protection! If your dog isn’t up to date with their jabs, is showing any symptoms, or you have any questions please contact us on 01535 602988.

This dog was found near one of several wildfires devastating Los Angeles. He was covered in burns, extremely dehydrated, and in need of immediate care. The folks at Pasadena Humane quickly got to work caring for him, along with hundreds of other animals affected by the fires. They anticipate getting more animals in need of emergency care as the fires rage on. You can help them provide critical resources for displaced animals by donating through the link below.
