Yesterday we had to say a final farewell to our beautiful boy πΎ The heartbreak is unbearable and think we've both run out of tears over the past few days.π
Our gorgeous warrior was almost 16 and was such a fiesty, stubborn little westie right to the end. He was comical, well behaved and the most amazing company.
I named my business after him 6 years ago and he became my work mascot joining me on my group dog walks everyday. He made numerous doggy friends and everyone loved him. π
Almost 3 years ago he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and suspected westie lung disease and he really did seem as though his time had come back then as was struggling to breathe but with controlled medication and lots of love and care he regained good health and battled on until arthritis took hold of his hind legs.
Recently he was in unmanageable pain even with regular injections, unable to sit or stand without help, losing bladder and bowel control and becoming so very tired. His eyes were sad and it was absolutely the hardest thing to have to do. ππ
Anyone that knows me knows how he was my baby and my absolute world plus Dave's too.
I can't imagine how our house will ever be the same again. It is so empty and filled with sadness. π₯² Rascal was the most wonderful boy who will be remembered and loved forever πππ
Have fun playing over the rainbow bridge special boy π β₯οΈ
