💚🌎 It’s Amazon Rainforest Day so you guessed it, fun fact friday is all about the Amazon! 🌎💚

🌴 The Amazon rainforest covers 8 countries, it is 28x times the size of the UK 😳
🌴 Which makes it sound like it’s a thriving rainforest however it is under threat
🌴 Every minute deforestation occurs equalling the size of 5 football pitches 😭
🌴 The deforestation is due to things like agriculture, illegal logging and making way for infrastructure
🌴 17% of the Amazon has been lost already 💔
🌴 The Amazon is home to 10% of the wildlife species we know about
🌴 New species are still being discovered as well
🌴 The amazon is home to 70% of the worlds Jaguars, it is the stronghold for this big cats survival
🌴 The Brazilian government plans to stop deforestation by 2030
🌴 International efforts and organisations are working to increase protected areas within the Amazon for both the rainforest and the indigenous people who call it home
🌴 Countries are proposing “debt for nature swaps” to allow money and resources to go into protecting the Amazon

Here is your nosy at what products were on Monday evenings deliveries (there was also more cat litter on my passenger seat) 🐾🛍️

I am available for deliveries this evening if you need anything otherwise the next deliveries will be Monday evening as always. Another reminder the natural instinct freezer is FULL and orders are ready to collect, I think paleo ridge (another freezer delivery!) will be arriving tomorrow if you would like to help a girl out with everything needing topping up at the same time 😅

Natural instinct had a super busy weekend which meant they couldn’t get all their deliveries out on time but good news it finally showed up this morning, so the freezer is full and orders are ready for collection from tomorrow 🤩

A small business perk is definitely the relationships you make with your regular customers. One of my regulars surprised me this week with the sweetest painting of Lily 🐶 I can’t get over how many hours he must have put into this the detail is amazing, right down to the individual blades of grass. It now sits in pride of place next to Lily’s ashes. 🥹 Thank you again Rod, we all love it!

There’s a couple of new products in the building 🤩

1. Scruffs long eared bowls - I think these are nicer than the standard “spaniel bowls” and they are cheaper so what’s not to love
2. Something new for your little ones - meadow grass treat sticks which are topped with either carrot, rose petals or marigold flowers

The big bags of Pampuss wood pellet cat litter, the grain free cheese stars and earth rated tie handle p**p bags are also back in stock 🛍️
