⚽️🐶 The World Cup has started but we have a few more days to wait until England’s game. So in the mean time for Fun Fact Friday I want to see pictures/videos of your dog if they love a ball. 🐶⚽️

Lily was OBSESSED with balls! She couldn’t be trusted with a tennis ball though as she would pull the coating off and eat it. Our go to enrichment on rainy days was to launch her indestructible ball down the hallway for her to play football with (sorry Neighbours 😂).

The wholesale delivery is here so I shall be working my way through it until 5:30pm. The shop is very quiet today no thanks to the weather. If you would like me to bring products to you just let me know, as I am already doing 2 Skipton deliveries and 1 Gargrave delivery after work so I don’t mind doing more. ☔️🐾🚗

🐾 What’s Happening Wednesday? 🐾

❄️ Natural Instinct has finally arrived
🐾 The wholesale order is going in by 1pm so there is still time to add to that if you need anything specific, the delivery will then come tomorrow (Thursday)
🐱🐶 Canagan and Cobbydog were topped up last week so there is still plenty of both available
🐱🐶 A Dorwest delivery is due by 12:30pm, the Valerian Compound will be back in stock and there is a NEW product.
🐶 Healthy Option is being ordered today
❄️ A Paleo Ridge order will be going in ASAP, I just need some room in the freezer!

⚠️ The shop will be OPEN as usual next week but things will be a little different. ⚠️

I am away Tuesday - Thursday (16th - 18th) and then at a hen do on Saturday 20th. If you require a delivery I will be available on the Monday anytime or the Friday evening, so please get organised with booking which day and what you need.

Those of you OG Dogsbody customers will remember Louix who used to work at the shop before I did, well he has just finished his degree in Animal Behaviour and Ecology and has kindly agreed to hold down the fort for me, so don’t worry you'll be in good hands with Louix. ☺️🐾

The shop is open until 4pm today for Skipton Car Show, there is definitely a car for everyone 🏁🤩🐾

Be sure to be venture off the high street as there is the Artisan Market on the Canal Basin and Skipton Auto Services have a collection of cool cars at their garage as well, plus they have Opel the Saint Bernard as garage mascot. 🤍

P.S. Does my 21 year old Nissan Micra count as a special car today?! 😂

Well it’s not a slow Saturday here because the JR delivery has just landed. Beef rashers and odourless braided pizzles are back in stock PLUS there’s a new product available in 4 different flavours (in the colourful boxes) but what is it? 👀🐶

⚽️🐶 You may have heard the World Cup starts next week so today’s fun fact Friday is all about Pickles the Border Collie cross.🐶⚽️

Back in 1966 England nearly didn’t have a trophy to win, because it got stolen only 2 days into being displayed in London before the World Cup started. The exact details of the robbery remain unclear so there’s not much gossip for you there.

Pickles saved the day by sniffing out and getting excited around his neighbour’s car where the World Cup trophy was wrapped up next to it on the ground. The whole situation only came about because back in 1966 there obviously wasn’t any mobiles and Pickles’ owner needed to make a phone call, which meant going for a walk to find a phone box.

Pickles received a medal from the National Canine Defence League and even became a movie star. Pickles’ owner bought a house with the reward money he received for bringing the World Cup trophy to the police station and he still lives there today with Pickles buried at the bottom of the garden.
