Kitty neutering! 🐈

Each year, organisations such as Cats Protection and RSPCA care for thousands of abandoned or feral cats, many of which result from unplanned litters. Neutering not only prevents overpopulation and reduces the strain on shelters, but also improves a cat’s health and behaviour by lowering the risk of certain cancers, reducing roaming and fighting, and helping them live longer, safer lives.

The hardest decision you may have to make.. 🪽

Our pets don't understand longevity.

They don't wake up hoping for three more months.
They don't know what next year means.
They only know how today feels.

Is my body comfortable?
Can I breathe easily?
Does food still taste good?
Can I rest without hurting?
That's their whole world.

When disease progresses, it's rarely one dramatic moment.
It can be a slow process. Fewer good days. More hard ones. And it's hard to notice the change when it's slow and chronic.
And sometimes the most loving thing we can do is choose a good day.
A day where they're still themselves.
A day where they can eat a little something special.
A day where they fall asleep in your arms quietly and peacefully.

Bruce came for his first vaccination today 🥹 ❤️

Canine vaccinations protect against some nasty diseases such as; Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Leptospirosis bacteria.

These are highly contagious and can often be fatal.

This little guy will soon be able to explore further afield a week after his second puppy vaccination 🥰

(As you can see, his trip to us was exhausting! 😋)

Let’s talk microchips!

We can’t stress enough how important it is to keep microchip details up to date. We are increasingly encountering found pets whose microchips are either unregistered or still registered to previous owners or breeders.

This makes it extremely difficult to reunite lost & found pets to their owners!

It also may not cross your mind when you get a new contact number or change address to update your pets microchip… so please use this as your friendly reminder!! ☺️

Dear Followers,
We would like to give you notice about our opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period 🎄🎊

Due to staff shortage, We will be mainly available for emergencies only. Therefore it is very important our clients prepare and ensure their pet's prescriptions (including food) is ordered well in advance! 🙏

The last day to order from us will be Monday 21st December and will continue as normal from 2nd January 2026. So please make sure your pets have enough medication and food to see them through! ❤️

Opening Hours are as follows;
24th December Open 9-13:00
Emergencies Only- 25th Dec & 26th Dec
29th December Open 9-18:00
Emergencies Only - 30th Dec, 31st Dec & 1st Jan
2nd January Open 9-18:00
Then back to normality... 🙌

Dear Followers,
We would like to share the incredible news that one of our OWN Veterinary Surgeon Students has completed and PASSED his exams to become an Official - Veterinary Surgeon -MRCVS! 🎉

🎉♥️ Tawanda ♥️🎉

This achievement has brought tears of joy between all employees at Lincs Veterinary Centre. We are all so proud and so grateful to have him by our side. We are exceptionally excited for what is to come from this amazing vet! ♥️

We are positive our clients believe so too ♥️

Not only does Tawanda deserve this accomplishment from the effort and dedication he applies to his work; But the patience and determination he has applied to his studies and role as a student. He is most certainly a figure of inspiration for all Veterinary Students.

Jeff (Our Head Veterinary Surgeon) is so proud of his personal student. He has taught him all he knows and has always shown ultimate faith in our Amazing Tawanda ♥️
