We did it. Yesterday was the Helvelyn climb and with a mixed ability group it was definitely a marathon rather than a sprint. We had sun, rain, wind, hailstorm, and cold so it wasn’t easy. We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who sponsored us, it is so appreciated. Dogs are being surrendered every day and all rescues are stretched to the limit. Those of you who have sponsored but not yet paid, can you drop in the cash or phone and pay by card.

Little Bob needs someone to love. He is so friendly and craves love and cuddles. He’s small to medium size and only 14kg. All his siblings were adopted quickly and he was left behind. His socialisation as a pup was not perfect so he does have some fear reactions to other dogs. If you would like more information please contact Saving Saints and big paws rescue. If you aren’t in a position to offer him a home please share. We would love to get him a home for Christmas.

Is anyone looking for a smallish male x-breed, size of a spaniel, only 14kg, under a year old. He is so loving, craving cuddles and fuss. All his siblings got homes quickly and he was left behind. I would like to introduce Ozzie to you, also known as Fluffy and he is looking for his new mum or dad. He is fabulous, he’s middle aged and is a very calm dog, chilled is the word. He gets on with other dogs, very clean, neat and tidy in his kennel. He absolutely loves pottering in the garden and going for walks. He’s very friendly, fully vaccinated. We are pleased to let all our clients know that we will be re-opening on Monday 1st June for both day care and boarding. However the way we operate has had to change in order to keep everyone safe in these uncertain times. The first change is that all arrivals and departures are by appointment only. Reception will be locked at all other times. This is to ensure that there is only one client on the premises at any one time, and disinfecting can take place in between. Full details of the new protocol for the coronavirus crisis can be found on our website in the next few days. Full instructions will also be posted on our gates. Please rest assured that social distancing is being maintained at all times, hand sanitisers / hand washing is being done frequently, especially after handling any dogs and all surfaces that any client has touched are being wiped down. We are working hard to keep everyone safe and are happy to answer any queries that anyone may have. We look forward to seeing our lovely dogs soon.

I am offering a dog walking service while the coronavirus is affecting our country. I am fully insured and happy with large and small dogs. If you are self-isolating or part of the over 70's group who do not wish to go out then I can help. The walks can be for half an hour or an hour. Due to the coronavirus impacting on our business, we are reducing our opening hours until further notice. The new hours will be 8-10am and 3-5pm Monday to Saturday and 3-5pm on Sunday

Due to the Coronavirus we have more availability than usual at this time of year, so we have decided to put on some offers. The first offer is valid for the rest of March and all of April 2020. Weekend break Friday to Sunday, any size of dog:- £29. Full payment required on booking. We now take cards. Telephone number 01754 810462. We are looking to recruit a part-time kennel assistant / manager for 2 days per week 8am - 5.30pm. It will include some weekends. Please contact us if you are interested in finding out more.
Thank you to all of you that have put in applications for the job, (over 70). We are interviewing 6 people this weekend, could the 2 who haven't confirmed that they will be attending please let us know, so we can invite someone else to take their place.
