August 9, 2026 will be remembered as the day of the “international exam” of Lithuanian hounds.

As many as 108 Lithuanian hounds arrived at the international dog show in Druskininkai to participate in a special examination and take an important step towards the recognition of the breed.

Lithuanian hounds were evaluated by the chairman of the FCI standards commission, Petru Muntean, who arrived in Lithuania, and other experts.

We thank everyone who contributed to this important step 👏
