Those sudden bursts of running around the house or garden at top speed are affectionately known as "the zoomies!"

In many cases, they're a completely normal way for dogs (and even cats!) to burn off excitement or energy.

Regularly checking your pet's ears can help spot problems before they become painful.

Healthy ears should be:
✨ Clean
✨ Pale pink
✨ Free from unpleasant smells
✨ Not itchy or sore

If your pet is shaking their head, scratching constantly or you notice redness or discharge, it's time for a veterinary check.

Please avoid using cotton buds inside your pet's ears—they can do more harm than good.
