Holiday dates
I will be away from 12th july and not back to work until Tue 25th July.
If your dog will require grooming before or after this date please get your appointments booked in early as I’m getting very booked up already.

Coronavirus update
To all my lovely clients, with new information from pif regarding groomers ability to work during the 3rd national lockdown, there has been even more restrictions placed on us.
As a result we will be limited to offering welfare grooms only at this point in time.
If you are unsure if your dogs groom falls into this category the best thing to do is message me directly.
Please remember to keep an eye on your dogs claws (especially dew claws), keep up with regular brushing and combing at home, especially if your dog has a wool coat/ wears a harness regularly/ is bathed and towel dried at home.
If your dog becomes knotty or matted, has skin/ear problems, in growing claws or you have been advised by a vet that your dog requires grooming, please contact me for an appointment.
I hope that we’ll be able to get back to normal work soon in the mean time take care and feel free to contact me with any queries you may have. Vicki xx

Don’t forget early socialisation is essential to create a calm and happy adult dog and that includes getting your puppy used to being groomed!

Reopening
From Monday 18th May Silverdale dog grooming will be open again.
I can’t wait to see all my lovely clients and their dogs, you’ve all been missed. There will be some changes in place to ensure to the safety of my clients and myself, please read before attending your appointment and follow them.
New procedures
1) When arriving for your appointment please stay in your car I will come out and collect your pet.
2)make sure your dog is in the boot or back seat of your vehicle.
3) Please remove your pets collar/ lead / harness i will collect your pet with my own lead.
4) If you pay by cash please have your exact money in an envelope or you can pay by bank transfer.
5) if you wish to pay by bank transfer this needs to be done prior to your appointment ( please contact me for payment details) , please use your pets name and your surname for reference.
6) In order to allow me to thoroughly disinfect the grooming parlour between appointments please make sure you collect your dog on time. There will be a £10 late collection fee added if your pet is not collected promptly.
7) when you come to collect your pet please stay in the car and I will bring your pet out and put them back into your vehicle.
8) repeat appointments will need to be booked by text
9)I will continue to groom only one dog at a time although dogs from the same household can be brought In together.
10) If anyone in your household has symptoms or is self isolating your dogs appointment will be cancelled and rebooked at a later date.

I hope this post finds all my clients safe and well. I am trying to keep on top of enquires and replying to messages but please bare with me if I’m not responding as quickly as normal.

As of this Friday 27th March I have taken the decision that Silverdale Dog Grooming will close , until it’s safe to reopen when the corona virus is under control. I will not be taking any further bookings this week.
I wish all my clients the very best in these difficult times and look forward to seeing you and your fur babies again very soon.

The lovely ‘Boeta ‘ ( chocolate cockerpoo) and his sister “Topsy’ in for grooming today. At Silverdale dog grooming we always groom dogs to owners requirements. So Boeta has a lovely long fluffy head and tail with a shorter , but still fluffy body, while Topsy is sporting an altogether shorter haircut.
