One of Dustys mummies visited her memorial marker today and wow! How well the tree has grown in the past 3.5 years since it was planted.

Miss you, our precious little girl every day, but hope you are playing with all of your doggy friends and family up in the sky. 🌈🐾🐾💔

It's a year to the day at 1030 since our beloved Dusty lost her fight against double pneumonia. Please join us in a minutes silence if you are able to and remember this vibrant young ray of life taken so tragically at 8 months. Thank you. Xx

Visited Dusty's memorial at the Donkey sanctuary today. Thank you so much to Dusty's friend Jess the Jack Russell, her mummy Rhianneth and daddy Roger and of course messager Pauline for placing this in her memory. It moved us to tears in a happy way and was so very kind of you. Dusty was very lucky to have known you, albeit for a short while. Xx

Can't believe that it was a year ago today that we brought Dusty home. She was aged 8 weeks exactly and we tragically lost her at 8 months. In that time she taught and gave me so much. How to love unconditionally, live life for the moment and patience. She was my first puppy and will always hold a very special place in my heart. Not a day, hour or minute goes by when I don't think of her and am grateful that she was gifted to me even for such a short time. Thank you for being such an important part of my life. Until we are reunited again you will forever be in my heart. ###

Today has been an emotional day. It would have been Dusty's 1st birthday. To mark the occasion we visited the memorial plaque her god - mothers kindly arranged for her. It's in a lovely spot, which I'm sure she would have approved on walk D (for Dusty). She may be gone but will NEVER be forgotten. Rest in peace darling girl. ###

It's a testament to our love for Dusty that we have decided to allow 4 furry paws to enter our lives once again. Meet Tuppy. She is Dusty's half niece (much elder half sisters daughter). Fate has dealt it's hand and we look forward to welcoming her into the family. She is only 5 weeks old at the moment but already has her own page; Tuppy the Puppy - A Cocker Spaniels Tale. Please join her on her adventures. Dusty's page will of course remain online as a memorial to our darling girl. Thank you xx

How lovely is this quilt? Dusty's godmother started it for Dusty to use on the boat and had the very difficult task of finishing it when she had gone. I've hung it in the bedroom above the furry paws bed. A beautiful reminder of our gorgeous girl. Thank you Di xx
