Sleapy Cat Rescue

Sleapy Cat Rescue Based at Sleap near Wem SY4 3EW we rescue and re-home cats and kittens in the Shrewsbury, Wem, Whitchurch and most of North Shropshire areas.

Based at Sleap near Wem, we rescue and re-home cats and kittens in the Shrewsbury, Wem, Whitchurch and most of the North Shropshire areas. We are all volunteers and completely self funding. If you feel you could help by making a donation, please don't hesitate to give us a call on 07743 644795 or use the contact page on our website. If you could give a forever home to one of our residents, then pl

ease get in touch for a chat and to arrange a visit. We look forward to hearing from you. We require a minimum donation of Β£75 per cat but as of the 1st Oct 2022 this will go up to Β£90 due to increase in all prices and energy crisis (this will be more for a pedigree). This does not cover all of our costs, but it really does help. We would very much appreciate if you could donate more than this to help other kittens and cats to find loving forever homes. Every penny raised goes towards looking after the cats whilst they are in our care and towards finding homes for them. Some of our cats require extra veterinary treatment and this can be costly, so every penny counts. If you have lost or found a cat, you can send us details to place in our lost and found section. The more information you can give us the better. Please also include photos as this can help trace your lost pet. If you can pass on any information that you may have to the whereabouts of one of the lost pets detailed on our site, it would be very much appreciated by their owners and by us. Thank you

THANK YOU FOR THE INTEREST BUT WE ARE NOW SORTED AND WELCOME EMILY ON BOARD LOVELY YOUNG LADY 😻

We are on the look out for a volunteer to do every other Tuesday as a hands on volunteer, due to our volunteer's UNI work getting to much, this would be cleaning the cats/kittens out, washing and drying food bowls, giving fresh water and topping their dry food up and of course fussing them 😸 You would need to be physically fit and drive as we are not on a bus route, reliability is a must, start time would be 10am and can take 3/4hrs depending what we have in. All this is hard work with no pay BUT rewarding to see the guests get their forever homes 😻 Full training will be given, if interested pls send me a msg as I don't always have time to follow the posts, thank you for reading 😺😸😻
