We see many dogs come through our doors, including many rescues. Unfortunately, some of these dogs have been through traumatic experiences or we simply do not know their background at all. Luna is a rescue. Her pawrents travel 2 hours to use our boarding facility, and we were determined not to give up on winning her round. Luna was petrified on her first stay, grumbling at staff, hating every minute. But perseverance from all our staff means that now Luna can finally run through our gates and not look back for mum or dad and they can finally have the breaks they deserve not having to worry about their precious baby girl! Luna is just 1 of many dogs we’ve never given up on and we pride ourselves in doing just that. We don’t give up ❤️

It has been a very hot few days. Our focus has been to keep everyone cool. Dogs have the air conditioning units on, waters have been constantly topped up, we have dampened towels to use as makeshift cool mats. To keep them safe, they are being let out of their kennel for a limited time before and after the hottest times of the day. The hoses were on sprinkle and so many dogs were running under the water having fun, they knew it was needed! and lots of treats and toys in their kennels to keep them occupied in the cool 🥰 cats pens are being kept cool and water topped up twice a day. Thank you for your patience when dropping off and collecting this weekend. Our priority was getting the animals out the cars as soon as we could, which meant having to jump the queue.

Thank you for everyone for your understanding ❤️ that thunderstorm was definitely needed! let’s hope the staff make it through the next couple of days, it’s been a rough bank holiday 🤣🤣

Paddy had a trial day with us today and he did so well! He was slightly unsure when he first got here so cuddles from lauren helped him overcome the nerves and he was such a brave boy and tucked into his lunch with no problems❤️ see you again soon Paddy 🥰

These toys cost £3 each and are perfect for tiring out pups like mango and peach who are full of energy! Although peach didn’t quite get the hang of eating the biscuits and had to have a bit of help. Mango on the other hand created her own way to get to them 😋🤣

I know we quite often make thank you posts but it really does mean a lot to us that you recommend us, or post lovely reviews. Although we get new customers all year round, we get a lot of people look around this time of year ready for summer. We’ve had some lovely people come in to say hello and they have mentioned they’ve read our positive reviews or have heard feedback from other customers who already use us. The kindness from our customers is so very much appreciated, our job is very demanding and it can be hard work, but the bond we create with not only just the animals but the humans too make every minute of the job worth it ❤️ so, although it’s been said before, and this may be long winded, but it needs to be said again. THANK YOU, for noticing every small detail that we put into our job, from the knowledge staff have, to the time we take answering messages, the photo boards in reception, the daily conversations about your pets, noticing the love we show your pets, the extra attention we give to win your pets round if they’re slightly nervous. We pride ourselves in bringing the nervous ones round and go out of our way to make sure they have the time they deserve. We wouldn’t be here without you, so your trust in us means a lot ❤️
