Summer can be a lovely time for this job but it can also be very stressful & worrying especially when we get heatwaves like this scorcher ☀️

We all love the sun but we can all agree this is a lot for us to cope with in the UK with no aircon & with our animals particularly suffering the most!

It is not just the worry of them overheating that comes with this job its the hours of contacting customers, reorganising our diaries many times, the financial worry of not having work on, constantly checking the weather, making sure all needs are met to ensure pets & pet owners are happy. Making sure we are hydrated, fed & ok too.

So thank you to all my customers for being so good & understanding at this time. Early walks & garden visits have been done to keep us all safe. Its all we can do in times like these! It may sound extreme to some but no - it is life threatening & this job is so much more than dog walking & playing with animals. We are in charge of lives - the most important lives in many families - our pets hold us all together when times get tough & bring us all so much joy! We also wear MANY hats, never truly switching off, always something to do with admin piling up in the background.

So please be kind to your pet care providers & please don't be like the silly humans I saw in town in 30° heat walking their poodle in socks. Its all terribly stupid & quite frankly selfish to be putting your animals through such conditions.

I may be able to help with cat visits if you have any dates you may need me please drop a message - these are priced at £12 per 30mins (£3 for extra pets) all small animals can be catered for & I will also water any plants that need it as well as popping bins in & out while you're away 😊

As you can see I've been the dog boss from an early age 😂

Growing up around animals taught me compassion & how to live in the moment. To be in nature come rain or shine & that cuddles are the most healing thing for the soul 🙌🏼

Honestly had no idea this would be my job it just came naturally to me by following my passion after working at my aunties boarding & rescue kennels from 14 years old!

Branching off on my own to then be doing this full time for many years & it even moved with me down south for a couple years. I am now juggling a few different things as I follow my many dreams but I don't think I will ever not be able to do this work in some form or another - it brings me so much joy & I am forever grateful to all my customers & to anyone that has recommended me for making it possible to do what I love for so many years 🙏🏼☺️

I am currently at my full capacity with no room for new clients I am afraid. So sorry if messages are slow or I don't manage to get back to enquiries. I have lots of furries to attend to & they need my full attention 🥰
