Last day for support May 5th 9am
Dog owners I need your support…..as some of you know I’m wanting to provide dog day care at my home near Burlton. I’m currently trying to get change of use in planning approved, however unfortunately some neighbours are concerned over barking. (I think they are confusing the noise of a dog kennels with the more structured environment of a day care). As such I really need to show support for the business and the benefit to dogs and their owners.

This is a total shot in the dark. We have a colony of 20 to 30 cats that are friendly who need to be relocated. All the cats need neutering assessing a health check before attempting to either re-home or put them on farms. Is there anyone with a secure barn or shelter that has outside secure space where we could start to sort the cats out? It would need to be accessible to our vets either at market Drayton, Whitchurch or Oswestry area and if there was someone on hand to feed the cats and keep an eye out. It's a big ask but we are scratching our heads how to help these cats. We have a 2 week window to move them. Perhaps you could share? We have already taken 6 older kittens all receiving medical help but have no more space.

Please don’t let your dog enter or drink the water. There’s currently an issue which is killing the water birds. Five very poorly geese have been rescued there over the last 3 evenings. Possibly Botulism but could be blue-green algae. Members of the national RSPCA water rescue team will be attending today searching for other sick birds. Hopefully, the Environment Agency will be attending to test the water Please be careful and keep eye out for sick birds. If seen, don’t touch, but call 0300 1234 999.
