Good morning guys!
Let's hope the weather is better today than yesterday! I was freezing!😂
I'm sorry I didn't update last night after the announcement from boris Johnson!
But I felt that I needed to do some more research and sleep on it!
As it stands, there is no guidelines at all for us dog groomers!
All we have had is that we fall under the category of "non-essential"
Some groomers have remained open throughout the entire 7 week lockdown, others have shut.
Theres alot that needs to be considered to reopen.
-The safety of you and of course your family.
-The safety of both myself and more importantly to me, my children.
-Having the correct PPE to protect both you and me and our families.
-Being able to fully clean, sterilise and antibac every single tool, brush, combs, scissors, blades, and the entire groom room before the next doggie arrives.
-Also, we need to consider those of you who cannot walk to me, would your travel be deemed as necessary?
Now, I'm going to be straight here, I love my job! And miss all of you very much!
But...... i became a dog groomer, who works for herself that works from home, predominantly to be able to be here for my family.
It gives me the flexibility of being able to make decisions without anyone else having to make it for me, so the decision can be made solely around my little world!
At this time, I do not feel ready to open just yet.
I need to wait to here more information today at least.
I also need to make sure that I can get you all to drop off and collect safely, handover safely and collect safely too.
You've all been so patient and understanding, and I really appreciate it!
I will be doing alot of researching and I will do another post in a couple of days to let you all know what's going on.
