In today’s video, Alex takes us along on a solo walk with Angus, testing out a new route for our future pack walks. 🐕‍🦺 But before we hit the trails with our dogs, it’s crucial to check out new routes thoroughly! Here’s why:

I wanted to share a bit about how I got here, running Gemma & Jodi’s Pet Services 🐾

I started my career in teaching, where I developed skills in leadership, organization, and creativity—skills that I now use every day to lead my team and create an amazing environment for the pets we care for.

My passion for content design has come in handy too, whether it’s creating fun content or resources for our Learning Lab 🧠.

Starting this business wasn’t just about my love for animals; it’s also about family 💚. With their support, I’ve built a team that feels like an extension of that—working together to deliver award-winning pet care in our community.

I’m so proud of how far we’ve come, and I can’t wait to see what’s next! Whether it’s through our Canine Campers 🏕️ or supporting pet owners in our classes, I’m here to help pets and their people thrive.

🐾 Why is chocolate dangerous?
Chocolate contains theobromine & caffeine, which dogs cannot metabolise efficiently. Even small amounts can cause:
❌ Vomiting & diarrhoea
❌ Hyperactivity & restlessness
❌ Seizures & tremors
❌ In severe cases, even fatal poisoning

You know you’re a cat person when you find yourself having full-blown conversations with your cat… and let’s face it, they’re way more understanding than humans anyway. 😂

And then there’s the time you say hello to every cat you meet on the street like they’re your long-lost best friend. No shame, we all do it. 😹

Oh, and don’t even try to argue that your house is actually your space—because it’s really just a collection of cat furniture, with a few human chairs tucked in there somewhere.

But the real giveaway? The moment your cat jumps into your lap, and suddenly the rest of your day is on pause. Everything can wait as long as your cat is comfortable. You’re not disturbing that level of peace.

Hydration supports digestion, joints, and energy levels, keeping your pup happy and active. 🌟 Whether you’re heading out for a walk or enjoying a play session, always make sure your dog has access to fresh water!
Hydration Tips:
Always provide fresh, clean water for your dog throughout the day 💧
Bring water along during walks or trips to the park 🌳

Boost your dog’s hydration with this easy recipe using Furr Boost liquid! This tasty and healthy hydration soup will keep your dog feeling refreshed and energized.

1 cup low-sodium chicken or beef broth (ensure it's free from onions and garlic)
2 tablespoons Furr Boost liquid
1/2 cup water
