We are hearing of these more and more frequently now. There are still many horror stories of either unlicensed boarders or licensed boarders breaching animal welfare conditions.

One of the aims of the Pet Care Partnership is to strengthen the enforcement of license conditions to safeguard the pet's the licenses are supposed to be protecting without unfairly putting the burdening cost of enforcement on to those who are licensed and who do do their upmost to uphold the animal welfare conditions.

Our Goals for the P*P

🐾 To offer a place for pet businesses and pet charities to find support whether starting up or established either with what they need to do next, help solving any issues, get initial training and CPD.
🐾 Offer a directory listing to insured and licensed (if applicable) pet businesses and pet charities for pet owners to find ethical pet care.
🐾 Give them a voice at National Level as a Stakeholder to current and new legislation and guidance
🐾 Provide a search facility for registered pet-based charities or vets to list pets needing support and for those looking to give pets in need support a matchmaking service via the charity or vet to be able to help.
