Tom had an unannounced boarding spot check this morning from the council. I am delighted (and unsurprised) to say that he passed with flying colours!
Being a licensed dog boarder is not just a case of walks and cuddles with the dogs in our care. There is lots of paperwork to do too. Tom currently has the lovely Pongo staying with him, who had to have some emergency surgery last week. Having discussed this with his owner, we were still happy to have Pongo stay with Tom for his holidays. Part of the spot check today included the council having a look at the medication records, which were all up to date. Tom also took Pongo to his vet check up earlier this week.
This shows the importance of using a licensed boarder. The best boarders will fly through unannounced spot checks. You won't find us exceeding the numbers of dogs we are allowed to board or with incomplete paperwork.
Super proud of all of my team, who work so so hard year round, but particularly proud of Tom today - keep up the good work!
