Allen & Page Horse Feeds

Allen & Page Horse Feeds Allen & Page are passionate about producing top-quality horse feeds that nourish and support your horse’s health and performance.

Using Non-GM ingredients, Allen & Page feeds are crafted with care to meet the unique needs of every horse. Allen & Page was first established as a limited company in 1936 and now has four generations of experience in producing quality horse feed, helping to build the business into the major national feed producer it is today. Although, the Page family had been producing and selling horse feeds fo

r many years before that. Originally based at the mill at Quayside, Norwich, we quickly became renowned across East Anglia for the high quality feed we produced. Our ability to be innovative and continually improve has always been something that we value here at Allen & Page, as a part of that process we made the decision to move the business to its current state of the art mill in Shipdham, Norfolk. The new mill has provided us with the technology to produce our feeds, with precision feed blending and in an environmentally friendly way. More than two decades ago we gained the accreditation of major food production and quality control bodies, including the Vegetarian Society, Soil Association (Organic) and ISO organisations. This set a standard for us to continue working closely to ensuring the highest quality feed is always produced. In 2009, Allen & Page was delighted to receive a Royal Warrant from HRH The Prince of Wales. Looking to the future, we are always investigating new ways to improve and innovate; drawing on the experience and knowledge gained from almost a century of making horse feed.

They’ve done it! Michelle Cuerden and Del Boy V have won their VHS HOYS qualifier and secured their place at HOYS!

An emotional Michelle said:

‘I can’t believe it’s happened. There were some fantastic veterans in there. He was on point this morning.

‘He had his Allen & Page Veteran Light, which he has every morning and for his tea. He’s been on it since he was 14. If he feels good, he looks good and he goes good!’

A fantastic result for Michelle and Del Boy V, and what a moment to capture.

Huge congratulations from everyone at Allen & Page. We can’t wait to cheer you both on at HOYS!

Burghley is under way for Simon Grieve and Autograf!

Our supported rider Simon Grieve and Autograf got their 2026 Defender Burghley Horse Trials campaign started yesterday, completing their dressage test with a score of 44.1.

The pair return to Burghley following a fantastic performance here last year, when they jumped double clear and finished inside the top 20.

Autograf is fuelled by Allen & Page Soothe & Gain, and we’re very proud to be supporting him and Simon as they take on one of the biggest challenges in the eventing calendar.

With dressage continuing today, all eyes will soon turn to Saturday and Burghley’s famous cross-country course.

We’ll be following them every step of the way. Good luck Simon and Autograf!

Good luck to Simon Grieve at Burghley

Burghley Horse Trials kicks off tomorrow, Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th September at Burghley House in Stamford, Lincolnshire. We'll be cheering on our supported rider Simon Grieve and Autograf, Fed on Sooth & Gain, as he takes on one of the most demanding cross-country tracks in the sport. Burghley is home to fences that have tested five-star riders since 1961, the Leaf Pit, the Cottesmore Leap and the Trout Hatchery to name just a few.

A five-star eventer through and through, Simon knows Burghley well, and we can't wait to watch this week's action unfold.

If your horse is fed on Allen & Page feeds and you're heading to Burghley this week, drop us a comment and tell us their story, we'd love to know.

Good luck Simon, we're right behind you.

The VHS National Championships are just days away, Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September at Arena UK, the largest veteran equine event in the UK, with over 150 classes across showing, dressage, jumping and fun classes, and we can't wait.

If you're heading there, make sure you get your horse or pony's weighbridge slot booked in before you go. Weight can change gradually as horses get older, so knowing their actual weight helps you stay ahead of it rather than guessing.

The weighbridge will be outside while our stand will be in the main arena, so keep an eye out for the signs on the day.

If your horse or pony is fed on Allen & Page feeds, tell us in the comments, we always love hearing how they're getting on.

Slots are filling up, so don't leave it too late.

Bank Holiday plans with your horse?

However you're spending the Bank Holiday, whether it's a long hack, a final show of the summer, or just pottering about the yard, we hope you and your horse have a brilliant day.

If you're travelling anywhere with your horse, it's worth thinking about topping up their fluids beforehand, especially if it's a warm one. A soaked feed like Soothe & Gain is an easy way to help with that alongside their usual water intake.

Wishing you a lovely long weekend from all of us at Allen & Page and we'd love to see your pictures and hear your stories.

Is it time to think about a veteran feed?

Every horse ages differently, and there's no single moment that tells you it's time for a change. But there are a few signs worth keeping an eye on.

Struggling to maintain weight even though nothing else has changed, teeth that are not quite what they were, or a digestive system that seems more sensitive than it used to be, these can all be gentle signals that your horse's needs are shifting.

Veteran Vitality has been formulated with exactly this in mind. It's high in fibre, low in starch and sugar, and soaks in just three minutes, making it a soft, easy option for horses with poor or missing teeth. A blend of herbs and a live yeast probiotic help keep things palatable and support healthy digestion too.

If any of this sounds familiar, it might be worth having a chat with us about whether Veteran Vitality could help your horse maintain condition as they get older.
