🏆😮 Can't quite believe it! 🏆😮

Results are in from The Pet Stylist Groom Off online grooming competition and I’m honestly so shocked, proud and overjoyed! 💓🙏🏻

I (Nissa) placed in 3 out of 4 of large classes, competing amongst such talented groomers from the UK and overseas!

🥈 2nd Place – Felines Styled
🏅 4th Place – Felines Brushed Out
🏅 4th Place – Crossbreed Mediates

But the moment that really took me by surprise…
I was awarded the Special Recognition Award for Best Feline Groomer! 🏆🐱

To be acknowledged for something I put so much heart into means everything. Cats are such a different world within the grooming industry as patience, communication, calm energy, and a deep understanding of their body language is essential. I’m so proud to have that recognised 🏆 🐾💓

Thank you to my insanely talented judges, Cassandra - The Poochery Dog Grooming and Ky Marie (Dotty Deville), for your wonderful feedback and encouragement. Your insight is invaluable and I’m already working on the notes you shared 🙏🏻✨

I’m also sharing my fourth entry, even though she didn’t place, because I’m super proud of this groom. Not every achievement is a rosette; some are just quiet steps in the right direction 💥👊🏻

Let's now shine a light on Drew. Drew entered two challenging classes (see her Doodle and Asian groom in the photos) and didn’t place this time, but her improvement is clear and consistent. She’s learning with every groom, pushing herself, developing her eye and technique. We’re celebrating the journey as much as the results, and she’s absolutely on the right path! 🤍

Our most-loved festive package is back starting (tomorrow) 4th November – 22nd December 🎅🐾

Warm Christmas Spice bath, deep conditioning, marshmallow facial, festive pawfume spritz, treats, a Christmas photoshoot, double-sided bandana, and your own personalised fur bauble… all for £20 🎁

Because each bauble is custom-made, we do need to know in advance so we can prepare their name and keepsake ✨

If your pet is part of your Christmas memories (of course they are 😍) this is the perfect way to make the season extra special.

Even if your cat is booked in for a dry groom, they can still have the photo, bauble, treats and bandana (if you wish) ✨

🍭✨ 2nd Place for “Sugar”! ✂️🐩

What an amazing experience yesterday at the Global Creative Live & Model Dog Competition! 💫

Meet Sugar, my sweet creation who helped me achieve 2nd place in this incredible event. This was an in-person competition, where we had just 2 hours to hand-scissor our model dogs live in front of the judges. Every detail, every snip, every curve had to be perfectly placed — and I couldn’t be prouder of how she turned out! 💕

The standard of work was out of this world — so much talent, creativity and passion in one room. It’s events like these that remind me how much I love this craft… there’s always something new to learn, new inspiration to find, and new goals to chase. 🐾

A huge thank you to the organisers, judges and everyone who made the day so special — and congratulations to all the incredible groomers who took part. What a brilliant showcase of creativity and skill! 🏆

Here’s to more learning, more creating, and more Sugar-sweet moments like this one. 💖
