We breed a variety of colours and coat types, hence the name Rainbow Guinea Pigs. RESPONSIBLE BREEDING
We have 30+ years of experience breeding guinea pigs and our primary focus is on health and temperame

nt over aesthetics. Our sows (girls) only have one litter of babies a year before retiring at three years of age. Our boars (boys) are kept separately from the girls to avoid over-breeding. We only sell single guinea pigs to accompany another guinea pig. FREE-RANGE APPROACH
Our guinea pigs enjoy long summers free ranging on the lawns in herds together. Then cosy winters tucked up with their own radiator and a heat lamp. VISITING
We are based between Frome and Shepton Mallet. We welcome people to come visit our home if they're interested in buying guinea pig babies. Children are welcome too. Just give us a call on 01749850811 to arrange a visit. We provide lots of advice in the care, health, and handling of your pets. Baby Guinea pigs are £25 each.

Would anyone be interested in a pair of Indian Runner Ducks, they lay big eggs, keep the garden free of slugs and pests, do not require a pond and they are a lot of fun to own. They just need a solid wooden box to sleep in at night.

I pulled apart an old run and redesigned it as a big safe run for mums and babies.
They seem to be enjoying on their first trial.

Do you know what you are buying?
Pet stores with Guinea pigs for sale are very tempting, especially babies.
Staff may appear knowledgeable but they are there to sell.
I do NOT supply pet stores, they often want babies small so they sell faster and don’t grow too big, too soon.
Often I have seen babies that should still be with their mothers.
Baby Guinea pigs can appear bright, but if they are weaned too soon they are not capable of dealing with the fear and stress of early weaning and sudden changes to their environment.
There are some, who do supply,want them gone as soon as possible, less mouths to feed.
Sadly many babies die very young.
It is not fair to the pup and it is devastating for the children who lose their pet.
