We breed a variety of colours and coat types, hence the name Rainbow Guinea Pigs. RESPONSIBLE BREEDING
We have 30+ years of experience breeding guinea pigs and our primary focus is on health a

nd temperament over aesthetics. Our sows (girls) only have one litter of babies a year before retiring at three years of age. Our boars (boys) are kept separately from the girls to avoid over-breeding. We only sell single guinea pigs to accompany another guinea pig. FREE-RANGE APPROACH
Our guinea pigs enjoy long summers free ranging on the lawns in herds together. Then cosy winters tucked up with their own radiator and a heat lamp. VISITING
We are based between Frome and Shepton Mallet. We welcome people to come visit our home if they're interested in buying guinea pig babies. Children are welcome too. Just give us a call on 01749850811 to arrange a visit. We provide lots of advice in the care, health, and handling of your pets. Baby Guinea pigs are £20 each.

Everyone is asking?
I do not have any baby girls.
Sadly, as guineas often do, stillbirths are not that uncommon, this is the reason why I have had a lot fewer babies.
I do have a couple of female Guinea pigs that are older.
Ideal lap sitters for younger children.

Winter is so boring g for the piggies, they have a tunnel and they like pushing their football about.
Deep down they are not dreaming of football. They are dreaming of the return of the sweet green grass and plenty of sunshine.

Update on the diddy piggy.
He is doing fine, he is still with him mommy, his big brothers have been weaned off, that made a difference as both mum and diddy piggy have regained weight.
Bigger boys are so greedy x

I had a wee baby born.
His siblings were normal size and he was only an inch long.
Surprisingly he has his mother’s grit, she was handreared and so desperate to survive.
For the first two weeks I didn’t hold out much hope for him.
He latched himself to his mother’s teat and hung in there.
He is growing, bright and thriving, he is almost 3 inches now, bless him !
