We were giving our Cresties and Mossys a treat here at the shop as we had a lot of fig to use up, so we decided to mix it with some Arcadia InsectiGold! We ended up making a bit too much so we offered it to our beardies and they absolutely loved it!! Here is a video of our girls, Esme & Bea, enjoying a snack!

InsectiGold is a supplementary food that can be fed to a wide range of species including:

Crested Geckos
Gargoyle Gecko
Mossy Gecko
Bearded Dragons
Blue Tongue Skinks
Chameleons
Leopard Geckos
+ much more!!

It’s great on its own and packed with goodness - usually we would feed it solo but decided to make it even tastier this week with some added fruit!

Little Rockstar is already acting like missing 3 toes is nothing! Happily scampering around on all four feet as if nothing even happened 🤯🤯

For those interested, pending a successful recovery, Little Rockstar will be looking for his new home as soon as he's fully healed, just with 3 less digits than you average beardie! At least he's cool enough to be forever throwing out the rockstar hand sign 🤘🤘

Fresh out the egg & very much committing to the “I’m dead” bit 😂

Did you know that Hognose snakes play dead? This is a behaviour called thanatosis, a behaviour they share with opossums in which they feign death to trick predators! Clearly this one was born with a talent for acting 😂 even remembering to stick its little tongue out!
