Had a lovely daily walk with this one this week, she’s been a joy! She thoroughly loves her walks but as she’s still a pup at 5 months old I’m limiting her to 25/30 mins. Shes slightly fearful of road traffic noise so I’ve also spent time calmly watching the traffic while holding her in my arms for security, I’m sure she can overcome her fear in time so I’ll keep working on that with her. Well done little Betsy, you’re a beaut 🥰

Well, it’s safe to say my new client here, Betsy, enjoyed her walk today! This is her flat refusing to go home! She’s just a baby at almost 5 months old so her visits are currently a 25 minute walk and then some fun based training back in her home. She’s certainly a little character 🥰

A fantastic visual of how your puppies bones develop and why it’s so so important to not over exercise them. Those important bones and joints take time to develop and connect correctly. I still work off the old rule of thumb of 5 minutes exercise (on lead walks) per 1 month of age so for a 5 month old pup a 25 minute walk is adequate. At home play doesn’t get included as most puppies will stop and rest when they’re tired but limiting their ability to jump on and off things and use stairs also benefits them to grow good strong joints.

I’m now all back up and running (well, walking 😂) after my hand surgery. I have limited regular spaces to fill:
Monday- Friday
10:30-11:30 and 1:30 - 2:30

1 hour walking slots for your dog/dogs (up to 3 from the same household) Just me and your dogs walked from your home, no car journeys, no other dogs or people.

It’s all quiet on the weekday walkies front due to pending hand surgery. I’ve temporarily wound down to avoid disappointing clients when I have to stop working for 12 weeks. I will be opening my books again for the new year and driving the business forward then. Please do get in touch if I can help come new year 😊

It’s been an absolute pleasure to cover these cheeky boys! Their lovely owner couldn’t get her usual cover for them and I was happy to step in. They have had me in stitches today! I usually let the dogs walk me, after all, it’s their walk not mine so I go where they take me! This morning these two decided they’d take me to their grannies house! 😂😂😂 absolutely hilarious and how clever?! Alfie and Freddie, you’ve been a joy 🥰🤩
