Due to a client moving house, I’ll have a dog walking slot becoming available from mid-September - early mornings 9/9.15am start for an hour.

I’ll be available for puppy pop-ins, a gentle potter around or a good trek through the woods.

Please spread the word if you know of anyone looking for help with their dogs around Beauchief/Greenhill or nearby.

Thanks all 🐾🐾❤️

A bit of info about the weather for the next few days from our amazing weather reporter Steel City Skies - Sheffield Weather
Please look after your pups during these high temperatures.
I’ll be doing very early walks, then pop-ins and let-outs for all of the gang who are home alone during the peak of the heat.

Steel City Skies is always innovating weather forecasts, from the much-loved washing score, to the more niche Steel City Smugglers (remember that swimming trunks idea? 😅)... and now we've got Cheeky Temperatures® 😝...

We have a heatwave coming up, and despite some wazzocks in the national news stories commenting 'it's just summer, brah' we actually have yet another spell of notably hot temperatures on the way, temperatures that, while typically associated with summer conditions, stray comfortably above the norm for the UK and indeed Sheffield 🥵.

So what temperatures can we expect? I've mocked up a hopefully-helpful graphic so you know what to expect over the next 5 days 😎 We have the 'likely temperatures', which is what is expected and forecasted by model data. For example today I forecast 25C as the high and a reliable local station had a high of 24.9C recorded. Tight 👌.

Then we have the 'cheeky temperatures', because sometimes models underestimate how warm/hot we can get and subtle local variations such as wind strength/direction, soil/ground temps etc as well as a natural diurnal increase day on day can all impact 🤓 So how best to phrase it?

"Thursday we can expect a high of 28C widely, maybe a cheeky 29 degrees."
"Friday widely into the low thirties, a high of 31C but locally perhaps a cheeky 33C cannot be ruled out."

There you get the jist.. have a cheeky evening! Follow for more awesome innovations 😁✌.

Many dogs get heatstroke when their owners take them out during high temperatures. Let's prevent heatstroke by knowing when it's safe to take your dog outside, and please contact us if you think your dog might have heatstroke!
And remember to keep your pets hydrated and are given plenty of shade.

Enjoy the sunshine, but please keep tabs on your pets 💛

Please take extra care of your pups during the hot weather 🐾🐾❤️

☀️🥵With the lovely hot weather being sprung upon us this week please see some do and don’ts below☀️🥵

DO:
🌞Provide fresh, cool water at all times
🌞Walk pets early morning or late evening
🌞Use pet-safe sunscreen on sensitive areas
🌞Keep them in shaded or cool indoor spaces

DON’T:
🔥Walk pets on hot pavement (test with your hand see our poster!)
🔥Leave animals in parked cars—ever!
🔥Shave double-coated breeds completely
🔥Ignore signs of heatstroke (panting, lethargy, drooling)

PLEASE NOTE: flat faced breeds are extra sensitive to the heat and struggle to cool themselves, keep an eye on them for signs of breathing trouble.

Lovely week out with the gang, and a couple of new pals have joined us aswell and are settling in nicely.
Lots of good long walks through the woods, gentle pavement potters and zoomies on the field. Great weather aswell, the thermals are finally off! 😎

Here’s a few snaps from this week, I missed a few, I’ll get them next week!

March already! Where have the last two months gone?
It’s been a very gloomy couple of months weatherwise so not many photos taken of the gang, but we’ve been out and about, trudging through the mud, with our heads down and our hoods up.
Lots of muddy paws and wet noses (mine included!) but this week has seen some clear blue skies and lovely sunshine.

Happy dogs, happy dog walker 😃

Photo dumps will be back again soon 🐾🐾❤️
