On this day 30 years ago… Jackie Wall started at Hallam vets 💙 that’s right 30 years ago!!! She started before computers 💻 , where she had to organise patients files. These will have been in the hundreds! It was before electronic X-rays 🩻 , so they used to have to dip X-rays in chemicals to produce an image. It was also when we did farm animals!🐷 We will have looked soooo different as a practice back then. She’s watched and helped us grow into the Hallam Vets we are today.

It’s a massive accomplishment, that often you don’t see anymore, people sticking in jobs for so long. We love hearing story’s of how it was back then, as it’s only her who knows what it was like. She’s given so much to this practice and we had to celebrate her🥳.

She started as a nurse, and then went into an administrative job and has worked her way up to be the practice manager.

But obviously, she still has many more years to go!! Shes got to make it to 40 years!! 😉

Not only should you neuter your pets for the many health benefits. But our rescue centres are ‼️FULL‼️ We contacted over 12 rescue centres to ask for a place for our stray. The scary reality is that… there is no space!! 😣Which is very alarming. Pets lives are not disposable, they’re waiting in rescues day in day out, waiting for loving homes 🏡.

Please think sensibly before breeding, as we have so many loving hearts already waiting for their forever sofas 💕. We have more pets, than there are homes for in the world 🌍 😔.

BIG THANK YOU TO Mansfield Cat Rescue registered charity 1193319💚💚 who have taken our stray today 🥳 She’s off to new beginnings, this place was found due to our Facebook appeal. Huge thanks for sharing everyone.

Please neuter your pets 💔 we searched high and low for a rescue place for this little one. Every rescue is absolutely full of pets needing homes. She’s had to travel for an hour to get a rescue place. We have too many cats in the world and not enough homes sadly 😣🏠 🌎

We’ve had her since Monday no owner has come forward and she is not chipped. We need to get this little lady to a place where she can be looked after and a new home can be found‼️. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST.

We’ve had a very busy day here, from snakes… to owls! 🦉 This little one has an eye injury that we’ve treated ✅. He has now gone off to an owl rescue centre. Giving him time to recover and rest 💕. Owls are just amazing!!

Still no news on our stray 🧡… but never mind she’s happy at the minute having fusses and food 😋. We’ll never send away an animal in need. Her skin is still in a bad way with scabs, and she’s very itchy 😿 But we’re working our magic on that 🪄.
