Jayne & Myself would just like to let all our wonderful customers know, that after 43 years of trading as Pet & Garden Supplies we are finally retiring.
Pet & Garden Supplies is now under new ownership with Mr Brij Thakrar, and we are pleased to say that the business will remain exactly the same, serving the community & its lovely people & its four-legged friends.
Brij is a lovely chap, with a lovely family & we couldn't be more pleased for him, & we are sure that the future of Pet & Garden Supplies is in safe hands, & that it will continue to be probably the oldest Pet Shop currently open in Sheffield.
During our 43 years it has been our immense please to serve you all, & your custom has been so very much appreciated.
We have met so many wonderful people, with so many of you becoming personal friends.
During that time too we have had, & brought up two wonderful children, Sophie & Jamie, who now have their own careers, but have been so supportive & by our side. It was especially really lovely to have them by our side on our last day before our handover.
We also can't thank the staff we have had over the years too, who have been a pleasure to work with & alongside.
We aren't going anywhere straight away as we ease Brij into the business, we will be there supporting him over the next month or so & build up to Xmas. So you will still see us around the shop for the time being.
It is now time to explore new horizons, The freedom that retirement will give us, to do the thing we have never had the chance to & to watch our beautiful little Grandson grow up.
Once again thank you to every single two legged & four legged customer who has stepped over our threshold over 43 years. We will miss you all & you will all be remembered & thought of with great fondness. We certainly couldn't have done it without you.
I hope you continue to support Brij & Pet & Garden Supplies as he now takes the reigns & drives the business forward
