ICCGB Gran Raduno Imperium Corso 2026 – Judge Profile
The Italian Cane Corso Club Great Britain is delighted to welcome Lady Carmen Pintea (Barbarian Corso) as a judge for our Championship Show on 28th June 2026.
Carmen's involvement with the Cane Corso spans more than three decades, during which she has developed an extensive knowledge and appreciation of the breed. Her passion for preserving and promoting the Cane Corso led to the establishment of Barbarian Corso Kennel in 2012, a kennel that has since become recognised for producing quality dogs of excellent type, sound structure, stable temperament and working ability.
Through careful breeding, dedication and a commitment to maintaining breed integrity, Carmen has achieved significant success in both the United Kingdom and internationally. Dogs bred and owned under the Barbarian Corso prefix have gained numerous national and international titles and have successfully represented British breeding at European and World Dog Shows. Her kennel has produced several notable achievements, including some of the first UK-bred Cane Corso to attain championship titles abroad, helping to establish the reputation of British-bred Cane Corso on the international stage.
In addition to her accomplishments as a breeder and exhibitor, Carmen is a qualified judge with considerable experience in the show ring. Over the years, she has officiated at numerous Royal Kennel Club licensed and breed club shows throughout the UK, earning respect for her knowledgeable, fair and breed-focused approach. Her judging experience, combined with decades of hands-on involvement with the breed, provides her with a comprehensive understanding of Cane Corso type, construction, movement and temperament.
Alongside her success in breeding and judging, Carmen places great emphasis on health, temperament and responsible breeding practices. Her breeding programme is founded on extensive health testing and a commitment to preserving the essential characteristics of the Cane Corso as a powerful, functional and balanced working breed.
The ICCGB is honoured to welcome Lady Carmen Pintea as our judge and looks forward to benefiting from her wealth of experience, knowledge and dedication to the Cane Corso breed.
