I didn’t want to have to make a post like this but after today I feel as though I need to. I have had two separate clients not show up for their appointments today. So that’s 3 dogs in total today, that I now haven’t groomed due to no showing.

If you need to cancel for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can try and fill this slot
‼️If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice or you miss your appointment, the price of the groom will be need to be paid for full before a new appointment can be made. A deposit may need to be taken for future grooms, dependant on the circumstance. ‼️
In certain cases, I waive missed appointment fees when clients experience unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances. Usually if they’re a regular customer that I can trust.
I am a sole business owner so three clients not turning up in one day has a very big impact on me and my earnings. Dog grooming is not a high income profession for most of us. We do the job we do because we LOVE animals, and love making them feel better and look pretty!
So a few clients not turning up in a week has a really big financial impact. I have rent to pay, food to buy, up-keeping my salon and equipment is expensive. Please bear this in mind.
